Milwaukee’s 18 inch PVC saw is a great addition to my cutting saws. The saw cuts straight and you can change the blade without any special tool. It is versatile and cuts many different types of material including plastic, plywood, wallboard and laminates. I use mine mainly to repair the pipes on pools and it is a great choice for this job. The handle is ergonomically designed and fits nicely into your hand.

I have used the Milwaukee PVC Saw multiple times and it is an excellent saw. You can get multiple types of cuts flush without damaging around saw. Used the saw to cut pvc pipe while installing a new garbage disposal Worked great and cuts the pvc clean without rugged edges. The saw is durable with a metal core body and a clamshell handle design to prevent damage from abusive job site conditions.

Very good saw. Very stable. Does not feel flimsy like many others that server the same purpose. Cuts PVC very easily, also very easy to cut straight with this saw as well.Rubber on the handle makes it much more comfortable than wood or metal handled saws.Requires no tools to change the blade. The placement of the blade in the handle, the angle of the handle, and the minimal height of the blade just makes this saw very comfortable and easy to use.

I used to have a Lenox PVC saw 20 years ago. It worked ok but wasn’t thrilled. After all these years I thought I’d try the Milwaukee and see what kind of improvements have been made since the 80’s. I guess it would have to be the handle. It is much easier to install and change the blade. Waaaay better than the old wingnut on the side concept of ancient times. Sadly that’s pretty much where it ends. The blade is not as aggressive as I had expected. I used it on some solid 6″ schedule 40 and worked myself into a near blackout trying to cut it. I have to say that it seems well made, but the functionality is lacking.

I received this very late after the last seeds program to select items. Not sure why, but I am glad I did receive it. I so my own work and sometimes when I don’t know how a friend comes and helps me. It is great to have a tool like this and other Milwaukee tools that I own. It makes life so much easier when you have quality product so use. Thank you.

Great PVC pipe-saw, and general back-saw for fine cuttingThis basic pattern seems to be a world-wide standard for cutting PVC pipe. Probably because the shape and size just WORK. Milwaukee’s version has a hefty metal handle covered with a soft but tough plastic. Good mass for sawing, easy on your hand. The blade comes out. You can replace it. Or you can put it in other side down for getting into an odd overhead situation. The blade cramp screw holds very securely. Teeth are VERY sharp. Milwaukee knows teeth. Blade seems to be exceptionally hard tough steel. Laughs at PVC and softwood. Makes nice cuts in hardwood. I hate cutting chipboard and laminates with a “good” saw so did not try this claim. I’m sure it would though.

Good saw, gets the job done. I like the handle and the teeth chew right through pvc pipe with little effort.

Here is a hand tool with a unique innovative designs. First is the rubber molded on the handle for comfort, Second, the blade is set low on the handle and is changed tool free. Last, the blade it’s self is much like most with the exception that it’s only 3 inches wide (about) with being set low on the handle improve cutting power and easy to fit into smaller areas.Milwaukee hand tools come with a limited lifetime warranty.Wish there was more, but outside of the size and design, it is a saw and they do showed you can cut other materiel, woods, drywall much like any saw. The blade can be replaced so go for it.

This is a quality saw as is Milwaukee’s other tools. I bought it to cut 4″ sewer pipe for a lawn pipeball game and it cuts very well.

This is a very solid and nice saw. It absolutely sailed through PVC pipe and it made a relatively smooth cut. You will still need to scrape off some PVC shavings of course. The blade is very easily detached with a large knob on the top of the handle. The handle has a metal core, covered with plastic which provides for a strong firm handle with a comfortable grip. The teeth are very sharp and it comes with a plastic protective cover to protect the blade and people handling the saw. I will try to keep it in place after using it each time too.It is designed for sawing not only PVC but also wallboard, plywood and laminates..It comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

18Inch PVC SawThis is a great saw. I have included pictures and a video. I was able to cut through a piece of pvs in just a few seconds while holding the pipe in my hand. I didn’t need a vice. The teeth on the saw are quite different than a normal saw. They have a wide flare which reduces binding when you are sawing. The blade is quite rigid. I found that when starting a cut I have to make small 1inch motion back and forth until it creates a track. Long strokes throw it off. It isn’t difficult, but quite different from normal saws. I really like it and its perfect if you are working on PVC.

The saw is sharp. I like the feel of the handle. I’ve only had it a month.
