The 14′ Milwaukee is a great tape–The blades are accurate, very durable, have great standout (25 feet), are easy to read, and have the perfect balance of detail and contrast. They are also super compact and tough. Sturdy, well made and operates smoothly. The best features are the large, easy to read numerals on not one, but both sides of the tape measure. This is extremely helpful for those of us with “bad eyes” and measuring at angles where being able to read the length on either side is crucial. The hook has plenty of grab on the bottom and sides it does up the functionality tremendously. It’s noticeably faster since the tape automatically holds to the surface tight enough to pull the blade out without feeding it by hand. One of my favorite things you can stop the tape from recoiling, by placing your finger on the back of the tape measure. A great tape just got even better! Highly recommend!

There are many things I really like about the Milwaukee 25ft Wide Blade Tape Measure. The numbers are very large and easy to see at a distance. The tape is wide and when you stretch it out, it doesn’t flip and flop down, it actually stays standing straight out. That helps when it is one person using it. Great for contractors. It also has a clip so you can hang it on a tool belt, a belt, or hang if from your pocket. Very pleased with this.

Great standout, comfortable in hand.Downside is the hook on the end is way too small.If it were to extend 1/4″ past the sides of the tape blade it would be perfect.Work at a lumber yard and use it often,no problems so far.

Milwaukee just built the best tape measure in the world. Now that I have one, I can’t believe no one thought of this before. The wide blade adds so many advantages its incredible. The first is that the numbers and hash marks are HUGE, no more squinting. The comparison is startling. Second the ability to measure long distances with precision is nice. With the tape being so wide it does not move side to side and lays extremely flat. It is also allows you to free float the tape with out it bending. I had the tape stretched off the side of my deck 10ft before it actually bent. And last, the case, actual tape and coating is superior to many of the other tape I have owned over the years. It looks and feels like a precision measuring instrument. Once you get one of these wide blade tapes, you will never get another narrow tape again!!
