The Milwaukee 48-22-1906 Fastback Compact Flip Utility Knife is designed to improve user productivity. Press and Flip 1-handed opening provides fast access to the blade. Tool free blade change allows the user to quickly and easily insert a new blade. Its compact design permits easy carry in the user’s pocket or tool belt. Milwaukee’s 48-22-0304 6 in. Fixed Jab Saw uniquely integrates rasping holes along the side of the blade to rapidly expand holes or smooth rough edges of sheetrock after a cut has been made. Complete with a rubber over-mold to increase comfort and reduce hand slippage, the saw also features a thick 6 in. blade for increased durability and longevity.

I bought this knife over the Milwaukee Fastback knife that has the gut hook and wire stripper because I didn’t need those two features even if it was only $1.00 more. I like this knife because it is simple, compact (not too big and heavy ) to fit in my pocket. The Press and Flip feature takes a little practice flicking your wrist in the right motion to open and close it. I have not encountered the problem that some others have had with the blade coming out and not staying in the holder when cutting something. It clips onto my pocket or belt easily. I’ve had no problem finding replacement blades as on the package it reads “uses standard size utility blades” so I don’t need to find unique blades. It’s a excellent well made knife and good looking for the price. Perfect size for me.

I am a shipping/receiving administrator, and use utility knives 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I’ve been using this one for about 3 months now and I love it. Initially, I didn’t like the “bump” under the pocket clip, as it did make it harder to pull off of my pocket edge. Now after 3 months, and never once has it fallen off, even when brushing it up against something, that “bump” is my favorite part about the knife because of the security it provides. This knife is easy to pull out, open, and close with one hand. Blade changes are simple and secure.

this my goto knife. i always lose knives and i seem to keep going back to this one. i like the size and how it locks. one think i dont like as a right handed electrician, is when i strip bigger wire my thumb hits the blade release and sometimes comes out. other than that ill keep buying them
