Milwaukee makes another great knife! Just like the others this 4″ fixed blade has a tall blade and drop point, a full tang for durability and the iconic red plastic handle that we have come to respect. I am not that big of a fan of stainless steel but its benefits in a used-hard work knife shines because it does not rust and if you use it hard for work you will be sharpening the edge often anyway. The included plastic sheath fits well. I will use mine for work but honestly this is a great knife that can be used from everything from hunting to camping to fishing or just around the house use, or taken to work and beaten hard.

Perfect for a number of different tasks.

I just bought it. The sheath doesn’t hold on to the knife well enough. This is an issue. I like the knife handle, The steel is likely something around a 420 steel as I’ve owned other Milwaukee knives.

Having a good knife around the shop is a necessity. Most of the knives I have used in the past are left-overs from the kitchen. This one is solid, sturdy and so far has held its edge. I have recently cut gasket material, rubber hoses and card board. It does not bend or flex when putting pressure on it. The handle feels good and grips well. The 4 inch blade is the right size for most jobs, even skinning after a squirrel hunt. The sheath fits easily on my belt.

I really like this knife. I like how light weight it is and it feels really good in the grip. I came pretty sharp right out of the package and has held it’s edge despite being batonned into wood for a while. The only thing I really don’t like is the sheath. The locking mechanism that holds the knife in is super difficult to use. When you pull the knife out it wants to bring the sheath with it. Plus it is super difficult to get the knife out one handed. Your milage may vary. Once I get a new sheath, I will be carrying this knife all the time. I also wish Milwaukee would have provided some more information as to what type of stainless steel they used in making this blade.

This is my edc knife. I’m a blade freak and for the price it’s just awesome. Had it about a month now and only sharpened it twice so far “and i believe all knifes are tools and should be used as such…HEAVILY used”. After modifying the sheath for a scout carry it is my favorite knife at the moment. And if I should happen to break it I guarantee I WILL have another with in 24 hrs.

Bought this knife at hardware store for work. After using the blade at work for 3 weeks i purchased 2 more for family members. The blades are light and tough. Hold a decent edge and resharpen easily. Has become an every day carry item.

The Hawkbill flip has been my EDC for years, crazy versatile and bulletproof. I even keep a spare in each car. The duct knife is a monster too. Bought the Tradesman a few weeks ago and it’s my favorite camping knife now. Definitely not gonna lose it when I set it down, with that goofy red color, lol.

Really great knife for both work and play. Everything I own is Milwaukee and being a full service maintenance company we need tools that can keep up. So no surprise this knife did not disappoint. Cuts through most anything on the job and holds blade really well. Then as a knife thrower, really put to the test. Hardwood over 20 throws and drives about an inch deep. Point never bent.

Considering what this knife will cost you vs what you get it is ALL VALUE!No, it is not made with Elmax-Super-Stainless or any of the high end Stainless Steels but it will do what you need it to do in any home application and will hold up well in outdoor use.And NO, it is not a blade for chopping anything. A sturdy, strong, cutting blade.LOTS OF VALUE IS WHAT IT HAS. A knife for cutting things.
