Bought a dining room set that had to be assembled. Came with hex bolts and a cheap allen wrench. Took me 2 hours to put 1 chair and half of another together with the wrench they sent. I went to HD and bought this hex screw driver. Put the other half of the chair and 2 others together in 20 minutes.

Clean up the clutter! I have dozens of hex keys in different sizes, metric and SAE. Multi Bit types with dozens of itty-bitty interchangeable bits, and dozens of the little bits in baby food jars and trys scattered all about, folding sets that fall apart, sets of allen keys stored in candy boxes, t-handle type in soup cans, etc. They get together and breed, but all the same I can rarely find the exact size I need without rummaging around. THIS however, is a great solution to the problem. It replaces 8 separate tools and the thing I really like is that the interchangeable bits store securely in the handle in a way that pretty much requires you to put one bit away before you switch to another size. I’ve been playing with this one and it’s metric cousin for a couple of weeks, and if they have these in standard, phillips, and torx versions, I’m buying two more of each!

This is an interesting multi-use tool. The bits are 3-1/2″ long with the standard 1/4″ hex shape on the tool end, and a variety of size hexes on the “business end”. The handle has six holes, which are storage tubes for six bits. The bits are securely held in place by a bit of rubber – you just push one bit in from the back, and the one you want to use pops out the front. In theory, you could use any 1/4″ hex bit in the magnetic holder, but you are only going to be able to store ones which are 3-1/2″ long. The retaining magnet is good and strong. The grip is a little larger than your average screwdriver, but still a reasonable size, and the rubber overmolding gives good traction. The only feature that I don’t quite understand, is the wire “loop maker”. It’s just a hole in the hex part of the shaft.

I have lots of these hex/key wrenches but this is my first set that comes with a multi-bit screwdriver. The reason I recommend this concept is I like to use an cordless drill (with clutch) to drive in and out the very long fasteners and then hand torque with this screwdriver. When you have 200 fasteners to loosen and tighten down, an electric tools is a must especially in maintenance/production settings. With Milwaukee, the buyer is assured of getting durable tools which is another must. For those buyers in manufacturing environments this is very useful too.If I had to make a suggestion, I’d like Milwaukee to add a ratcheting mechanism to the screwdriver.

Excellent quality and worked great for removing the shower handle. Just wish it had the smaller size that would work with the towel bars and rings too.

Excellent product for small working spaces. Also, can be used with the Milwaukee series ratchet screwdrivers.

Does it’s job fine but when it’s time to store it you have to leave one of the long bits in the the tool because there’s only 6 holes for 7 bits. Poor design

Not enough range of sizes. Have to actually get a set of Hex key to get the job done. It’s going to be returned.

Got this one by mistake, as I was looking for the one with Phillips and slotted that was right next to it. This is great, regular hex keys can be uncomfortable to use , but the handle of this multi-bit screwdriver allows you to apply plenty of torque comfortably. The handle is thick and comfortable to hold and it is really easy to change the bits.
