I got a great new tool to drive and tighten SAE hex size allen screws from Milwaukee tools. A hand-held driver with 7 bits (6 stored in the handle and one in the magnetic hex drive). The bit sizes range from 7/64 inch, 1/8 inch, 9/64 inch, 5/32 inch, 3/16 inch, 7/32 inch and ¼ inch. The hex shanks will fit into a powered driver if hand torque is not sufficient. Each bit is chrome plated for marine grade rust protection. The bits are 3.5 inches long. This set up will be handy in my tool bag. I would recommend this tool to a friend.

It’s okay. The bits are difficult to pull in and out of the handle and there isn’t enough slots for all of them. It doesn’t make sense to have one out since it extends the size and doesn’t make it easy to store.

I really like these you have 7 different sizes . This is a screw driver type device. Six are held in the unit and one in the top of the unit itself. Being designed this way gives your much better grip on the unit unlike an allen wrench . Used it the first day I got . Wanted to take out an old intercom system for the house. Found it much easier to use than an old allen wrench.

Only used it for one task. Worked great. Feels good in the hands. Milwaukee has not disappointed me yet.

Great tool ! Cant believe i would use this toll as much as i do with the amount of diversity of jobs i have. Great tool to have in your toolbox and keep it locked away so no one steels it ! Specialty application makes it a valuable tool to have in your toolbox and keep around. Great quality and used many times to get the job done. will value this tool in my collection.

Great quality as you expect from Milwaukee Tools and a reasonable price.

Great tool. Bits are easy to change out and the screwdriver style handle makes it easy to tighten/loosened Allen screws versus the old style L-Shaped ones.

This hex-bit screwdriver came in handy when I needed to tighten up a computer stand. I couldn’t find the tool that came with the stand so I was able to find one that fit with all of the tips available in this kit. I used it as a manual screwdriver but the bits can also be used in an electric drill. The 1/4″ power groove bits are the longer bits for extended reach. The sizes of the hex bits are 1/4″, 7/32″, 3/16″, 5/32″, 9/64″, 1/8″ and 7/64″. The nut driver is 1/4″. The handle is a soft grip.

This 9 in 1 setup is quite convenient. Instead of having loose hex keys or a folding set where keys keep opening when you are trying to work, this is just like a screwdriver. The sizes you aren’t using fit securely in the handle. To take it to a job, you need no more space than a screwdriver. That does bring me to one of my two ‘could be improved’ points. To include the highest number of sizes, one key always has to be in the screwdriver. While there is a nice click when you insert a key (there’s a magnet in it that makes a reassuring connection), it is still a removable key sticking out and I keep expecting to lose it. I have not to date, so it seems like the engineers got it right. My other quibble is that it doesn’t ratchet. The pros far outweigh the improvements I’d like. The tool is solid; storage of the keys is great; the engagement of the key that’s in use is solid (I like the addition of the magnet); the range of sizes is good; and the wire loop maker is convenient. Add in the lifetime warranty and it is a winner. I like it so much I have the torx bit version as well.

I absolutely love this hex (Allen) key screwdriver by Milwaukee. Within the first couple of days I used it to assemble some small furniture items for my home. If you are tired of using the Allen key that comes with your furniture purchases, this thing is great. It is much more comfortable to hold.

high quality hex driver. the only thing is the bit that you mount slips out too easily. that is fine if you are putting pressure on the hex screw that you are trying to get out but for storage it risks the bit falling out and losing it. another problem is that there are 7 bits and only 6 holes to store the bits so one is left out that I assume you have to store in the screw driver but if it falls out you lose it. I would give it 5 stars if I could store all the bits in the handle but I can only store 6 bits in the handle.

SUPER hex key screwdriver set that dials up in all sizes in comparison to the Allen wrench. A valuable tool for DIYers in and around the house.

Just what I was looking for. Far more superior and efficient than Allen keys that comes with new unassembled furniture. Great investment and cuts assembly time tremendously

Its great, but i see a missed oportunity with the end of the bits, would prefer it was Like husky’s ratcheting screwdriver multibits.

The Milwaukee 9 in 1 SAE Hex Key Drive Multi-Bit Driver is a quality tool. It is noticeably heavier than single size drivers when all of the bits are on board in the handle but a lot less heavy than 9 individual drivers and about 1/8th the volume in the tool bag. The overall length is 9 inches with half of that beyond the handle. The bits fetch up nicely on the detents in the handle and in the handle extension to keep them in place during storage and use. With 9 bits and 8 storage holes there is always one bit available to push the bit you want to use out of storage. There is a clever 3/32 inch hole through the shaft that makes forming a loop in wire a simple twist of the wrist. Nice tool and easy to ID in the tool bag.

Heavy duty, with a longer shank to reach deep into those difficult spaces.
