The MILWAUKEE® 9-in-1 ECX Drive Ratcheting Multi-Bit Driver is an excellent addition to my tool box. I like that all the extra bits are stored in the handle. This makes changing the bits much faster and losing them much harder. Changing from tightening to loosening is very easy & can be done with one hand. I will defiantly be purchasing another for my husbands tool box.

This is perhaps the best ratcheting multi bit screwdriver that I have ever owned. Unlike other models this tool is well built and made of quality materials. I really like the on-tool storage of full sized solid bits and love that they also fit hex fit power tools which mean less bits to search for on each job because you can simply remove them from the tool and attache to a power drill/driver if needed. I did not experience any bit or screw stripping during my use. The tool feels comfortable yet sturdy in my hand with a smooth and powerful ratchet motion. It is literally 6 tools in one. It is a must for home, DIY or professional use.

I would definitely recommend this ratchet screwdriver to anyone who needs a multi tool easy to use and has a well thought out ergonomic design for usage for any small project in your home and maybe outside your home keep this tool around all in one screwdriver makes for easy work it also holds different bits so you don’t have to carry a separate storage for them which makes this a tool a little heavy but a useful design

Good piece of tool.

It works well, but I would have liked it to have 9 different kinds of bits.

This is a super handy screw driver. It comes with six bits in the handle and one more sits in the drive. The ratchet has three settings. Forward, reverse, and you can lock it so it doesn’t ratchet at all. The drive mechanism is a standard 1/4 socket. So you can use it as a wrench, or put an adapter (not included) into the driver and use regular sockets on it. The handle is comfortable to use. I really like how the tool holds the extra drivers. The fit in the handle snuggly, but it is easy to get them out of the handle without it hurting your fingers. Really nice. I need to get a couple more to stash around the house.

Another outstanding Milwaukee tool. This ratcheting screwdriver, with 7 bits (Model 48-22-2231), is very solid and comfortable to use (I’m not sure why it’s called a “9-in-1”). The steel ratchet mechanism naturally works in both directions, but includes a “locked” position to bypass the ratchet all together – very convenient. The included machined bits are 3.5” long but any standard hex driver bit can be used, and these bots are tough enough to use in power tools. The bit holder is magnetic for a firm grip on the bit. Six bits fit snugly in the rubberized plastic handle for storage, sometimes too snugly to remove them easily. With six storage slots and seven bits, one is always in the drive so the tool takes up more room; I leave the least-used bit out – but who can complain about having too many bits in a tool! The tool is more expensive than similar units, but the high quality makes it well worth it.

Milwaukee is quality as always. This is a well designed and easy to use ratcheting screwdriver. It has seven different bits so it will work on just about any project you have. I love that the bits can also be stored right in the handle of the screwdriver. They are held tight but easy to get out. They are also simple and easy to switch out. A simple flick of the handle and you can go from right turn to left turn. There is also a lock position in the middle. It is well worth the money.

The narrow driver shank is exactly what I wanted in a multi-bit driver. I hope that Milwaukee will come out with a driver set so I can customize my driver to the job without having to buy multiple drivers, the ratchet action is nice, so far no issues. The magnet can use an upgrade or a bit lock

This is by far the best-quality multi-bit screwdriver I have used (the only other contender would be Milwaukee’s stubby driver.) The handle is solid and feels great in the hand, the bits are very well made and, as a bonus, fit in quick-change chucks and are hexagonal in cross-section so you can use them with a wrench. The ratcheting action works well and makes driving (or removing) screws more comfortable. I note that with seven bits, only six fit in the handle, the seventh will have to fit in the driver. One minor irritation is that it’s difficult to remove individual bits from the handle with your fingers – I use the already-out bit to push the desired bit out somewhat so I can grab it. The handle holds the bits securely. Now about those ECX bits… I had never heard of this before. Milwaukee came up with ECX for use on screws, sometimes found on electrical equipment, where the head can take a Philips, slotted or square driver. The problem is that there is no standard to this – some screws have the square drive at 45 degrees to the slots, and some at 90. The ECX bits work only for the 45-degree cases. If you encounter these a lot I suppose the ECX bits might be handy, otherwise I’d rather see something else there (square drive, for instance.)I don’t know how Milwaukee comes up with 9-in-1. I can count only eight pieces (including the handle).

It your a tradesman or even just a DIYer or just a simple home owner this tool is a must have!! It contains just about all possible sizes and options for any screw you may encounter. The bits are long in length, the all store convientky in the sides of the handle, they are all easy to see and easily removed fir use but also very well secured so they don’t just fall out. The ratcheting option is great and very useful and works while going foward or backing a screw out. Truely an awesome must have too fir anyone.

6 bit holder plus 1 bit in use: 2 phillips, 2 ECX, 2 flat, 1 square torque. Handle is 1.5″ (diameter) x 4.5″ long. Rachets forward and reverse or can lock out. Includes a hole for bending wire. I’m normally not a fan of multi-head screwdrivers but the come in handy when you are not working at your home base. For electric work, the ECX heads come in handy and the rachet feature makes quick work of things.

Great tool and good quality. They should have included an ECX #3 instead of a SQ #1 since this is sold as an ECX screwdriver.

I have had my ratcheting screw driver for about three years now. It is the first tool I grab when doing any job. It is so handy that it hardly ever goes in tool box but sits on book shelf awaiting anyone to use. Really built tough with great quality. Going to give as cheap gifts this year. A tool box is not complete without it.
