I considered the Wiha drivers, which are excellent tools but I couldn’t justify the price. Also considered a cheaper Craftsman set, but no rubber on the handles. So I bought the Milwaukee set, which is priced in between. The shafts are six-sided and you can put a wrench on them. And on my very first use of the tools, I couldn’t turn the driver by hand, and used a wrench on the driver’s shaft for more torque. This allowed me to get the screw out without breaking my arms. I’m glad I chose the Milwaukee set, neither Wiha or Craftsman has wrench flats!One negative, though. The plastic packaging this set is packed in is needlessly difficult to open. A utility knife was not enough; finally I used tinsnips to cut out the tools, one by one– the package is spot weed in several places.

I purchased these as part of the 14-Piece SAE and Metric Hollow Shaft Nut Driver Set. I find them to be sturdy, comfortable in my hand and generally well engineered. The hex shaped shafts are perfect for using a wrench when more torque is needed. My only complaint has to do with the tool size markings. The markings on the side of the handle are virtually unreadable, even up close, and only the white on red markings on the ends are readable from a distance. If they were all done in white on red I would give this tool set 5 stars.
