Hello, I’m writing today about the 8 inch Milwaukee Screwdriver set with ECX .I received this Milwaukee screwdriver set a couple of weeks ago and it arrived well packaged and the shipping was fast. These screwdrivers are far superior to my older set because they have features that my older set doesn’t. I liked the way the handle has three sides for better leverage, and the shafts are able to accept a wrench for even more leverage and the tips are magnetic .

Gotta Love Milwaukee Tools! When I saw the specialty Screw Drivers I knew I needed this Set! I believe this Set to be equally as nice as any Screwdrivers made, Even Klein Tools! The Rubber grip feel nice in the hand & doesn’t slip. When bearing down & allows the torque you want to be directed directly into the screw being driven or loosed. Blades on Flats are very squared & sharp & provide good bite. I found the Phillips Heads to fit very nicely & completely. Al Around A Great Screw Driver Set With Specialty Drivers Too! Can’t go Wrong with these!

Quality Milwaukee Screwdriver SetI am a maintenance professional and have been looking for a professional “replacement set of screwdrivers for some older Craftsman set that was “professional labeled” at the time, but turned out to have inferior plastic handles but the good features. This Milwaukee set “fits the bill” for me for professional quality and use. While I personally don’t care for the handle design on this particular set (I would describe it as a “bulbous” type design) compared to their more “main stream handles , this is a personal preference opinion. Functionally wise they are good handles.Additionally this set has GREAT functionality features professionals look for such as hardened tips. This makes a BIG DIFFERENCE in a “BITE” of the screws and longevity. As “other brands” are used over time and wear, the “Bite Factor” deteriorates. This is one of the key features/functions of any screw driver…While not used in “everyday use” the hexagon shafts allow one to use a wrench to turn while applying downward pressure. Try THAT with a round shaft. In time, I will be replace ALL of my older Craftsman drivers with Milwaukee. They have “moved to the head of the pack” when it comes to professional grade screwdrivers..

Great set of screwdrivers. I like the way they fit my had and they are very comfortable. The life time warranty is always a favorite feature of mine, as I wear screw drivers out quite a bit, especially the Philips heads. Typically I have been a big fan of the Craftsman exclusively. However, with these Milwaukee drivers I am a convert. Milwaukee has always been one of my favorite brands when it comes to drills and now the company is quickly becoming my favorite brand for hand tools. The other thing I like about these is the handle end indicates the type of head, making it easy to find the one I need in a pile of screw drivers, sounds minor, but I really like it as often use a 5 gal bucket to carry some of my tools for small projects, this makes it easy to find the one I need.Although I have not tried to use the hex shaft feature, I can see how it would come in handy for those tough screws that I can’t get enough leverage on.

I like that these are magnet tips. The handles have a soft rubber grip so that it doesn’t hurt your hand when you twist the tool. The slotted screwdrivers have a metal cap on the end of the handle in the event you need to use a hammer on them you can do so without damaging the end of them. A few very well thought out features on the phillipshead screwdrivers are the built in wire strippers and the feature for bending a loop into wire upto 12 gauge wire.

I’ve been using a set of the previous-generation Milwaukee screwdrivers for a couple of years now as an electrical contractor, and have been very happy with how well they’ve held up to everyday pro use, and also just in general. Those sets were probably a little pricey for the average consumer. These new screwdrivers drop a few features that those old ones had – namely the wire stripper and the shaft wire-looping hole, neither of which I ever used – to make for a more value-oriented set. They do add magnetic tips, which I know is a must-have feature for some users. The new tri-lobes handle are very comfortable, and the overmoulding does provide for good grip.I think that, for the price, these are a great option for the homeowner / DIY’er, and should give them years of use. For pros that are maybe looking for something that’s an upgrade from the previous-generation drivers, there are new Milwaukee cushion grip models that are soon to hit the site here that look like they are probably more the caliber that pro use typically demands.

Hardened tips grip screw heads and do not slip. They are precision machined after hardening, so these standard sizes fit all high quality screws. Yes, I checked every driver in the set. GREATLY appreciated feature: the clear LARGE marking on each driver head! That lets you grab the right tool fiirst-time, without checking several to find the tip you want. That will be a huge time and frustration saver for any trade!Another much appreciated feature of this design is the hexagonal shafts. Those allow you to attach pliers for more torque on stubborn rusty screws. In any screwdriver, the human-tool interface is the handle, and that is crucial. If you only need to drive or remove a few screws for small projects, you’ll only notice that they feel secure and are easy to use.But when you depend on screwdrivers for driving and removing MANY screws per day, these super-comfortable over-molded handles will save labor and protect your most valuable tools– your HANDS. The integrated wire stripper is a nice additional feature that all electrical trades-people will use frequently. Since I often repair speaker cabinets, the wire stripper is very handy! The shafts are tempered chrome-vanadium steel, so they are TOUGH. That’s important when you attach pliers for extra power. Between the tough tempered shafts, hardened precision tips, comfortable grip handles, and the bonus wire strippers, clear LARGE markings on the TOP of each handle, these simple tools are elevated to a higher ergonomic standard. These are PRO tools at a reasonable price.

Handles are very comfortable. Huge fan of the nice big clear symbols on the ends of the handles, so it is easy to identify the correct driver from within a tool bag. The overall construction and weight of each individual driver is nice. This is an all around kit, no specialty drivers. There are no super longs or stubby drivers. The tips of the drivers seem to be made out of a decent grade of steel, and through my abuse I did not see considerable wear to the tips. Weaker tool steals will chowder up pretty easily. My drivers are still in great condition.

Bought the set for the ECX drivers. The small driver worked good for the first 6 conduit screws then broke the wings off. Been running a lot of conduit and was looking forward to having a driver that would tighten up the screws and not want to slip out. Would buy the driver individually if it was available that way.

This is a nice screwdriver set. They are comfortable to hold and use. Here are some specifics about the screwdrivers that I noticed. • The grips have a mix of rubber and plastic which makes holding and gripping them easier when they may be wet or covered in oil. • The ends are magnetized which makes it easier to hold onto a screw that might be in a precarious position to hold with the hand. • This set includes 3-hex, 3-standars and 2-ECX which are primarily used in electrical applications. • The screwdrivers have a hole at the end for hanging on a tool board or for putting a lanyard through. • The they also have an identifier on the ends which makes it easy to grab the correct one if they are pointy side down in a tool bag. It also has identifiers on the side. I used a couple of these to screw in some loose door hardware on one of my locks. I felt like they are maybe a little nicer than the inexpensive, universal screwdrivers that I have used in the past. While maybe not as convenient, they are much sturdier. I think this would be a good set for wither the homeowner or the professional to have at their disposal.
