I normally love Milwaukee products, and have even been asked if I’m sponsored by Milwaukee by my fellow electricians. However, I bought this 11-in-1 because I lost the larger Philips and slotted bit from my old 11-in-1, which rendered it almost useless. Turns out this is technically a 12-in-1 if you count the loop maker, which is almost useless without the previously useless integrated wire stripper. Anyways, I like that it includes 2 additional bits from the previous model, it includes 8, up from 6 bits before. However, I did like that fact that the old model had longer bits for the #2Philips and 1/4″ slotted, but if you want more bits then this is the trade-off you make. Worst of all with this new model, the handle is RIDICULOUSLY HUGE. If you’ve ever heard the term “playschool tools” from fellow tradesmen, this definitely is one of them. I get Milwaukee just came out with their whole new ergonomic line of screwdrivers, but this handle is just way too big. Maybe some prefer huge handles, but I myself would rather have normal sized handles that fit neatly in my tool bag. Luckily the whole metal shank fits into the old 11-in-1, so I can use every part of the new screwdriver, but using the old handle instead. Another plus for me is I get to keep the old built in wire stripper, even though I don’t use it. So now I have a 13-in-1.

This was a great multi tool, had most what I needed at any one time to get in and out of cabinets and work on distribution. I found the version with a large flat and #2 philips combo insert the most useful but I can no longer find it. My only gripe is the shanks are either too short or too fat for accessing screws on most breakers or other shrouded screws. The newest 11in1 version is worse, without the reach of the large insert your restricted to fasteners in the wide open.

The handle fits nicely in my hand and is sturdy enough for to work I do. The main selling point for me on this particular tool was the dual EXC bit it comes with. It’s wonderful for putting together cord bodies and screw in emt couplings/connectors.

I am an Electrician, and loved this tool, BUT, it is not one I would recommend to my fellow tradesmen. The ECX Bits are a joke poor quality. Used it once and snapped! Oh well the other bits were better. I never understood how easy it was to lose the bits though. Why no strong magnetic handle, or shaft, that keeps the bit in? Safer when working in an electrical cabinets , At least we might be able to catch the bit,as it stayed on the screw, and is falling faster than you can react. Cant find the bites when you are doing any kind of renovation work, where debris is going to be present, and you are working off a ladder. GOOD LUCK!! Other than that I just recently I recommended this very product to my brother as he is a handyman with no tools. Lol. A perfect fathers day present.Keep the receipt!!

Very effective for commercial electrical installations. Specifically for conduit and cable connectors and couplings. Most screws in the industry are moving towards a square/Phillips/flat style, however using any of those individually can be a hassle and result in a stripped screw. The ECX bit eliminates that Concern and provides a firm grip to those style screws. Comfortable handle and standard bits are effective as well. Couldn’t properly utilize stripping application but I feel that is for a more residential/DIYer. I did however break the flanges on the smaller ECX bit by over-torquing.

it is amazing, love it, can’t stop telling my friends and family about it. It really changed my life and now I can’t go a day without my Milwaukee 11in1 tool. It has made my life easier in ways I can’t even describe and Milwaukee keeps on making good tools I will keep buying.

Really like the tool except for the #2 phillips bit. I have lost three already. They seem to pull out of the tool sometimes when in use and fall out when in a pouch…

the wire stripper is a lil hokey but there are 3 dbl sided bits and 3 sizes of nut drivers.then the looper and wire cutter.best screw driver ive ever used,i use it every day at work multiple times..its worj the few extra bucks trust me…those of you tht cant figure out the 11 the 3 dbl sided bits counts as 6 each one is different and then 3 sizes of nut drivers so that’s 9 and the loope and cutte makes 11…

A great screwdriver to keep in my general repair tool bag. It’s tough. It’s durable. It’s a Milwaukee. Enough said.

You REALLY have to pull hard or use pliers to get the shaft out of the handle for the first time. I think it will get easier with wear, but it sure was stubborn the first time. No indication on packaging how to access the other bits.

just what I was looking for.

I use this screwdriver as a pocket tool for quick calls around the plant does most small repairs . I would not say it replaces my other screwdrivers and nutdrives , its a handy addition

I use this for house wiring and electrical upgrades. Best tool for the job! I recently bought another 11in1 to gift to my son. I noticed that it does not have the ECX bits, but rather two sizes of the Square. Didn’t notice this in the store and will watch more closely at the packaging before I buy another (which I will buy another for second son). Do you sell the double-ended Square and ECX bits separately?

The only reason I bought was the ESX bit, however I love the feel and weight of the Milwaukee tool, so now will buy more Milwaukee products!!

i am a low voltage technician and this is the best all purpose screwdriver i have used, the wire stripper works well for 18 guage and smaller wire, the ecx bits are awesome as alot of electrical boxes use this type of screw (most people use a #2 phillips which usually rounds out the screw head). i did break 1 of the ecx bits but i have yet to find a multi tip screwdriver that didn’t have this problem and i have used most major brands. at least milwaukee has a replacement kit available
