This is a great set of screwdrivers. It’s good as a starter or stand-alone set or as a replacement for select drivers. The set includes a #1 and #2 Phillips-head, a #1 and #2 slotted-head, and a #2 square-head driver. Each is very well made. The grips are excellent in that they are well-ribbed for hand traction and rubber-like for comfortable grip. You can really torque without much hand discomfort.

The Screwdriver set is very good quality and very comfortable. The identification symbols at the end of the handles make for quick access in dark or tight work spaces. The set should have come with a 6 inch #2 Phillips and Flat Head. I feel like that would have completed the set.

Screwdrivers do have some nice features like the grip area machined into the shaft (except the long skinny flathead) and I will admit that they look very nice and/or cool. However, there is no “cushion” in the grip at all. In fact, I personally find them rather uncomfortable when really torqing down a screw as compared to Kline or Greenlee which are my go to screwdrivers. I will say, without question, that they are EXTREMELY grippy. Haven’t found out yet but I might still have a solid grip with a hand covered in de-ox. I did consider returning the set and buying my normal go to’s, but I was in the mood for something different for a change and they do look sharp and maybe I’ll get use to the grip style. Time will tell how well the #2 Phillips holds up, because if you are reading this review, we both know that one is the first to wear out. Overall, solid buy, but probably better out there.

Milwaukee Cushion Grip Screwdriver Set (5-Piece)Even something as simple as a screwdriver has become yet another well thought out tool from Milwaukee. Comfortable in your hand molded rubber grips that won’t slip if you hand is greasy and give you the extra torque to drive that screw a little tighter. Each driver is clearly marked in several locations on the handle with a symbol or “Tactile identification“ as Milwaukee calls it, for the Phillip, Slot and Square driver. There is also a small built in through slot on each handle if you should want to hang each one separately on a thin nail or wire. The shafts and driver tips are top quality chrome plated heat treated steel and the tips have some kind of black treatment to help the tip bite the screw heads and prevent slippage. I find myself spinning the shaft between my thumb and index finger on the knurling because it is especially handy when quickly starting screws then griping the handle to drive them home. The shafts also are equipped to accept a wrench if ever needed to loosen a super tight screw. This set includes two sizes of Phillip head and two sizes of slot head as well as one square drive. If you are a woodworker you probably use square drive screws allot. If you aren’t, you eventually may come across a square head screw and you will be glad you have a driver in your tool box for future use. As I show in one photo, the square drive is perfect for driving pocket screws and many other screws now common in woodworking. This is just one driver set of many offered by Milwaukee so you can pick the set that has exactly what you want and need. These are backed by Milwaukee’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Another great product from the people at Milwaukee. The cushion grip on this screwdriver set feels good and comfortable in your hand and helps when you have wet or slippery hands or gloves. The screwdrivers are clearly marked in several places making ID easy. I really like the knurling on the shaft to help start screws and spin for faster installs. For the hard to remove screws the wrench ready feature allows you to attach a wrench for more power. All around great set for the toolbox.
