Wow! When a company designs in a way to use a cheater to provide extra leverage it tells me they have confidence in the strength of their product. This locking plier device has a tab with a hole in it where a screwdriver or other steel shaft can be inserted to tighten it that extra torque so you know it’s staying where you clamp it. Comes from the Milwaukee tool company, a name I associate with quality. The jaws have the clearance that you sometimes need to go around parts of the object you are working on that get in the way of what you want to clamp. This tool is a winner.

Great clamps! They are made by Milwaukee and come with a lifetime warranty. I have a couple of these clamps of various sizes and use them all the time. The clamping strength is tremendous and holds very well, and the release is easy. The torque screw on the end easily lets you apply additional load and holding capability as well as reducing it when it’s time to open the jaws back up. These are extremely durable and one of my go-to tools. I highly recommend these.

This Milwaukee locking clamp is very nice. It has a lot of clamping power. I’m a woodworker and it holds down a piece of wood to my workbench really well. The only problem I have is the clamping tips if that’s what you call them are pointy instead of flat. So they leave marks in my wood. Not really much of a problem though even other clamps can leave marks. so I just slip a 1/4 ” piece of plywood between them and the wood and there is no problem. Would recommend them.

These are a little different than what I expected from the description. First, it should be noted that 9 inches is, I think, the total length of the tool. The actual clamping distance is about 4.5″, and the mouth of the clamp opens to around 3″. The ends of the jaws are blunt/rounded, and I’m not exactly sure what the ideal application is for these. I thought they would have flat tips on the jaws. The rounded can hold some flat pieces of material together, but not much else, and they’re likely to slip in a lot of situations. The vise locking mechanism, as with all these Milwaukees, is very nice, and the end is slotted so you can tighten it down with a screwdriver if need be.
