All the offspring seem to think this is a TOY. I’ll admit, it is fun to demonstrate a bit of geometry, angles, triangles, whatnot, with it. But it’s been put away where little fingers can’t twiddle with it — that’s how its predecessor died.Accurate, well-printed numbers & lines.Sturdy, as long as you rotate the sections appropriately, rather than try to clap-expand it like a slinky.

I bought it as a gift for my brother and he loves it. His only comment was; “there’s no inside measure slide out”. Go figure!

What a sturdy little ruler! The Unit folds out with a nice snap in place when extended. The unit feels as if it was designed to last you a lifetime. When unfolding it will also lock into a 90 degree angle which helps around my projects when cutting any lumber. The Unit also sports angle markings of 22.3, 30, 45 & 60 degrees. I did have to go Online to watch some videos to figure the use for those angles, but they work! The markings of the ruler are etched deep into the arms so I believe there will be minimun wear or fading over time. The ruler has markings of 1/16th and Red Outlines for the Foot marks & Red Highlights for the stud marks. Glad I made the decision of getting one. You Will Too!

Works great for boiler and water piping. Fits in my pocket great with its slim design but is long enough that I don’t have to dig for it.

Seems like a high quality ruler. But! The package says “Inside read”. Most folding rules have a slide out section to take reading between two stationary objects but due to the packaging you couldn’t see a sliding part with out tearing open the package. It doesn’t have a sliding part and no obvious way of measuring between two objects. Emailed Milwaukee, still waiting. Return up next… Other than that it appears to be a very fine ruler just not for woodworkers.

This ruler is better than a tape measure. I love it. Sometimes you have to go old school.

As others have said: it doesn’t make sense to have the numbers printed the same way on both sides of the rule. I always read on the inside. Sometimes I measure right to left sometimes I measure left to right. There are two sides to this rule. Why can one side be printed reading right to left and the other printed left to right. Otherwise, it’s perfect.

Angle feature was not a motivator for purchase may be good for some but everything else met expectations

Rule is accurate and the material usedto construct it will lasta lifetime

Klein & lufkin understand the u.s. reads left to right. The picture even shows 1,2,3 4, upside down. Those of us that have used the other brands may not be able to get used to this. The tip on the ends makes the measument off approximately 1/32″when held next to klein and lufkin

Very nice quality. I expect this ruler to last you at least 15 years. If you work with brick, this tool is expected to be marred and scratched eventually. The letters and numbers on this ruler are recessed so they won’t rub off easily.

Great for trying to get pictures that need a scale included. Stiff yet flexes

Works great, and has a great feel. Would definitely recommend

Not so much feedback as its fairly basic tool. However, the Milwaukee quality of craftmanship clearly shows for it being tough.

Works like it should. This is replacing a worn out wood ruler. Time will tell if the numbers hold up like it should but doesn’t show any signs of wearing out at this point.

Better then lufkin

Much nicer functionality than all the wood rulers I’ve used for the last 40 year’s I love it
