I use this to measure several things but specifically bought it to measure the distance between my table saw blade and the fence. Easy to unfold and works better than a tape because it doesn’t bend or flex.

Super flexible, 3rd one I’ve had

Other brands have a very useful extension in the first segment that is very useful for one handed measure situations or checking depth/flush of different surfaces.

Very good ruler easy to clean ,light weight, thinner than old wood rules

Quality ruler however little disappointed that it doesn’t have a sliding extension like most of the other stick ruler I have owned

Great rule to have in the tool box. I like that if you measure from the left or right side it reads the right way. Less chance to make an error!

This rule holds up better than other brand wooden folding rulers. This is my 2nd one. Replaced due to loss.

Haven’t had this ruler very long but so far, I like it. Easy to read, like the trick fold to show the angles.Feels sturdy and the markings are accurate. I compared with a couple of measuring tapes that I’ve had a while and the markings are right on. The folded section clicks at 0, 90 and 180 degrees, solid click there and holds position well.Since I’ve only had it for a short time I don’t know how durable it will be but it does feel solid, in fact feels better than some of the wooden folding rulers that I’ve had/destroyed in the past.

This is a wonderful folding ruler. It’s made with composite laminated blades for water and scratch resistance. That composite makes it seem like it will last forever. The markings are very clear and deep. They look like they will be there a long time with very little wearing down. I love the way it clicks into place so you know you are locked on a straight line. The angles are also a cool thing to be able to do. It has angle markings on it that I can do but can’t explain. It has inside and outside measures. There are just times when a tape measure or ruler just won’t work like a folding rule. I’ve always used the wooden folding rulers but this one is definitely the new generation of folding rulers. I love it.

The first thing I did when I bought this ruler is put clear coat Krylon on it to give it a fighting chance. I am a heavy equipment welder and fabricator. I work in grease and oil all day long. I will put this ruler through its paces and see if it will hold up to the abuse I dish out ! I had other plastic tools that were made in Switzerland, Like General Dial calipers and found them to be a good and durable tool. I had a Rigid 1602 an all the numbers rubbed off.

I’ve been using this style of ruler for 6-7 years now and I can’t help to keep coming back to them. They stand out their full length, they are extremely durable, can fit it in tight places without collapsing, and most importantly it fits nicely in hubs of pipe. This is an inside read ruler and it’s technically a right hand ruler. I’m fully ambidextrous when it comes to anything at work and I know how to read numbers upside down. Seriously people it’s a trade ruler not meant for architectural drawingsThis ruler is meant for guys that are rough on their tools and work in rough conditions. Expect to buy one every year or every other. Amazing product will continue to buy until I can’t read a ruler anymore!Plumber for 7 years

This folding ruler is light weight and durable. I got the inside told because it works better for taking conduit measurements.

Great rule, clear markings allow for good measurements in stormy conditions. Folds quickly and stows easily in a pocket.

I am used to working with a wooden folding rule with the slide out extension. The Milwaukee is made of a composite material, does not have an extension, but is clearly marked and should hold up well. Another dislike is that you have to read it from right to left. Perhaps it is just my familiarity with the other style rule, but I don’t think I will purchase another one of these.

The ruler is simple to read, and use no subtraction need or account for difference like you would with some tape measures. Of course it would not replace a good table measure, but it does have its place in a tool box for measuring object not wall to wall or the internal measurements of an object since it is not flexible to cover inside corners, but for anything else its accurate because it doesn’t bend and easy to read.

Not all too much to say here, at the end of the day it is a folding ruler after all. But quality wise it is top notch. The markings are stamped on so it doesn’t wear off, the surface is scratch and water resistant. The joints are corrosive free and embedded. So all in all it is made to last for many years and unless I misplace it I won’t need to replace it.
