These are some very nice and heavy duty bolt cutters. These are my first pair like these always great to have when you need to cut bolts, locks, or chains. Also great to have if you lose the keys to your locks and have to remove it in a hurry. There is a card on the bolt cutters that tell about the product and how to maintain and keep them looking great, it also has a great warranty on them.

The Milwaukee 18 in. Bolt Cutter with 1/4″ Maximum Cut Capacity is a pretty heavy duty tool. The handles are nice and comfortable and the cutters are solidly manufactured. There’s not slop in the joints and you have to put force to them to open and close them. These bolt cutters were easily able to cut through 1/4 inch bolts without leaving any indentations in the jaws, however, I did have trouble cutting through an old 1/4 inch diameter Master Lock padlock. I had to use a cheater bar on the handle to get enough leverage to get through it, but that could also be a testament to the padlock. This is a nice set of bolt cutters that are easy to carry around for small jobs but I would probably bump up to a longer-handle set next time around with a capacity larger than 1/4″, probably something in the 3/8 in to 7/16″ range.

Works Great! Wish I had bought one years ago. Used it to cut a lot of rebar and metal cattle panels. It is much better than using a hacksaw or metal grinder.

It appears to be able to handle most bolt cutting jobs. I received it for Christmas and look forward to putting it to use. The price was really good.

Cuts through cattle or “livestock” panels like butter! I wondered how hard it would be for me, a 30-something woman, to use. I tried this out on a screw first. No issues whatsoever!
