This pipe lock level from Milwaukee fits in the palm of your hand and, except for the bubble level, is made entirely of metal, including the thumb screw. The thumb screw knob is prevented from falling out and being lost by an e-clip that is permanently affixed to the tool. The bubble level is large and easy to read, even at a distance and in low light situations. This level can be used on any job where a small level is needed, not just for fitting pipe. I wall mounted a TV and this tool came in handy to level the wall mount. Due to its small size, it doesn’t take up much space in the tool box, but I wish it was magnetic.

A sturdy, well built level, a must have for bending conduit and keeping bends plumb. Every electrician should have one on their tool bag.

This is a good, quality pipe lock level from Milwaukee. My observations:• The thumb screw does not fall out. Something this simple is very important and will save you some aggravation.• Good visibility with 270 degrees. I can basically get a read it in almost every direction and in my experience this is the easiest to read/use pipe lock level I’ve used.• Three machined surfaces provide additional versatility to check plumb, level, and give a clean contact.• Small footprint which is appreciated and won’t take up much room in your tool bag. These lock levels are critical to get the job done right the first time and the ‘right’ lock levels are a must. This qualifies as one of the ‘right’ ones to have. I recommend.

This Milwaukee pipe lock level is beautifully made and useful. I wish I had this little tool long ago. About anyone with a pipe bending hickey can put a right angle in a conduit but when the time comes to put a second bend in it without introducing a dogleg is when it becomes difficult. This tool attaches to the end of the conduit at a right angle and keeps track of the level at a right angle to the bending angle level vial reading. Because it is readable for a full 270 degrees of movement you can watch all the way through the bend. Pretty neat.

Milwaukee again has executed a well thought out tool. This “Pipe Lock level” is sturdy, well made and has features that made other pipe levels pale. Beginning with the affixed thumb lock, to the machined mating surface, for precise bends etc. The glass level bubble is big, has good contrast with surrounding liquid, making a read easy. What is also a bonus is the actual bubble container is of “Pyrex” quality.

2 in. Pipe Lock LevelWow this is a nice level made of a nice quality machined metal. You can view the bubble from the top, both sides and one end.The thumbscrew has a c clip on it to keep it from falling out so you don’t lose it.Placement over a pipe is easy just open the screw all the way and then tighten it down until it stops. This thing is very well-made.It’s light weight but yet has a good weight to it.I’ll find many other uses for it along the way I’m sure.I recommend this item.

With its light-weight design and easy to see bubble it clearly becomes the best level that I have seen in 30 years.

I got this level to use while I was on the road doing a lot of conduit. I was using this to bend offsets without the dreaded dog leg or misalignment. It worked very well for this which it is made to do. Thinking about other things to use it for when not doing conduit and being a welder I started to use it for setting up for flanges, preparing pipe for the field and it comes in handy for getting victalic pipe fittings aligned in the shop prior to going to the field. Take a look at the pictures I have included. I really like this little level, no magnet to pick up debris and drops into a jacket pocket. This little level will go a long way in my toolbox!

Quality built pipe level by Milwaukee. This Milwaukee 2 inch pipe lock level body is made out of solid metal with a powder coated finish in areas that do not grip the pipe. Areas that would be gripping the pipe have a milled face to allow for better traction and staying power against the pipe. The locking bolt is easy to thread and has a stop block to prevent you from twisting it completely out of the housing. The vial used by Milwaukee is made out of a nice thick piece of plastic that is easy to ready and provides a view of the vial from almost all the way around. The level appears to be very accurate and in line with my empire box levels.Overall I would recommend this level. Milwaukee clearly used quality material to make the level and looks like they thought out the design.

It works like it should. My only issue is that I wish it had a magnet on it so I could put it on the Hydraulic bender in between bends.

Very good and handy, wish it came with a magnet.

Milwaukee 2 in. Pipe Lock LevelThis level is a quality built level. It is made from machined aluminum. The thumb screw has a nice size knob that is slotted for easy grip. There is an E-clip on the end of the screw to keep the screw from being removed and lost. This is a great little feature. This level makes keeping conduit straight and plumb easy. The visibility of the bubble vial is superb from almost any angle.

Pipe Lock LevelThe concept is great, clamp a level onto a pipe as you bend or place EMT or plastic pipe run on a wall or across studs as you install it or tie it down as you move from pipe section to pipe section. The level has good visibility from all direction and clamping is achieved with easy. As long as the pipe runs are in the vertical direction, if you need to run the pipe or bend the pipe in the horizontal direction it will not help. There is only one bubble which is to be used in the vertical direction, it will not work in the horizontal direction. A second bubble 90 degrees apart inside the same metal unit would give you both a vertical and horizontal direction. The level will work if the EMT pipe is bent while on a work surface and the bend is always bent in an upward direction from the ground so the bent tubing ends up in the vertical position, but sooner or later your EMT will need to go in the horizontal position and a second bubble would help.
