The Milwaukee 6 in. Measuring Wheel was designed for extreme durability, increased ergonomics, and productivity. Constructed of reinforced aluminum frames and reinforced folding joints, the Milwaukee measuring wheels are able to withstand the toughest jobsite conditions. Durable locking pivot points help quickly fold the units for transportation and storage. The pistol grip handles, designed to provide similar ergonomics to that of a power tool handle, fitting the hand of the user better than other wheels on the market. These handles feature a top brake function that can be used to ‘lock’ the wheel and the reading, increasing accuracy. The Milwaukee 6 in. Measuring Wheel can be easily folded down to a compact 18 in. which allows for easier transport and versatility.

I bought this last year to measure out my yard. There’s not really much to say about it. It’s light weight, folds up nicely and has quick reset ability. It serves it’s purpose flawlessly. A little pricey, but I had a less expensive model that this replaced, and I have to say, there is just no comparison. Milwaukee is the better tool hands down on this one.

I really like the size of this wheel. I work in landscaping and started a new job. My truck is a Tacoma. This wheel fits great in the little storage spot behind the seat. Dislikes are, I wish the trigger was a reset button. And I think I am going to lose the little latch that holds it folded up

It’s nice that this folds up into something pretty compact for storage. And once folded out this is actually pretty sturdy while still being very light. But for my use I’ll just have it hanging handily in my building where I can grab it for a quick measurement any time so that is secondary for me. The wheel is very solidly built and heavy enough it grips the surface it is rolling on welly. The smaller wheel on this is obviously not for all types of terrain but for what I got it for (working around the home) it is great. For so many things where I’m not concerned about fractions of an inch this is a great quick way to get measurements over longer distances outside. It sure beats bouncing back and forth with a 100′ tape. And for measuring things that are not straight it is really a good fit. For instance, I’m in the midst of laying out a lot of Christmas decorations (50,000 lights and decorations) and being able to just run around the drive with this a drop some form pins at even 10 ft intervals is a time saver for me. The measurements come out very accurate from what I’ve checked. And it is easy to read even for my aging eyes. I should have got one of these sooner. I can see a lot of uses for this thing. I’m finding quite a few in my current endeavor.

I measured the length of the garage door in seconds, just by rolling the measuring wheel in a straight line. It was so easy and convenient that I started measuring everything else. It gave accurate results, in feet and inches, and I could see the numbers go up as I rolled it. It is a quick and simple way to measure the yard for installing a gate or anything else that is too big for a regular measure, and you don’t have to deal with spikes and string.

I like the folding handle. Very sturdy and durable for years of use. The wheel is just the right size. Big enough to go through grass and small enough to not take up much room in the vehicle. The handle is comfortable and easy to grab.
