The tape works great, feels heavy and solid in the hand. One question, how do you hide the tape end (folding hook) into the housing so it is not sticking out catching and getting bent?

This was the right size for me, just a little larger than a standard 25′ tape. It was smooth to operate.

Very good little tape… love the package size, built in handle, quick reel and legible scale which isn’t convoluted with unnecessary information. The only thing this little 100′ tape needs is a belt clip, maybe removable for those that don’t want it. I know this adds cost but the small size really lends itself clipping it on your belt or pocket. Good job with this one Milwaukee!!!-Steve

Title: Using this for amateur tree fellingSummary: Been felling some pretty large (+100′) trees, and wanted a way to measure them.Discussion: Looked at 4-5 offerings at the local THD, and decided on this one. Removed the hand strap, and added a 3/8″ webbing to clip this to my belt. I also found that when I unwind the tape, instead of folding the handle all the way out, sometimes I leave it in the 90 degree position, which works too.Pros: Solid Milwaukee construction.Cons: The handle doesn’t always align back to the storage spot, but for the most part it is okay.

It’s compact and seems like a solid built piece. The price was fair and I look forward to seeing how it fairs in the red dirt and sand.

This tape measure can be described as “Nothing but Heavy Duty!” It’s very strong and durable. Smooth action reeling in or pulling out. I have owned many different long distance tape measures and this is by far the BEST LONG DISTANCE TAPE MEASURE on the market!

I use this tape measure nearly everyday building the hydraulic lines for cranes. It’s rigid enough to hold the proper bends to make everything flow like it should, but flexible enough to get measurements for tight bends on short lines. The tape is made of metal so it’s really durable and will hold a bend if you manipulate it right.
