The Milwaukee 360 Locking Die Cast Torpedo Level features Sharp site magnified vial technology for an accurate, clear reading from any position. The 360 adjustable vial allows the user to set or identify any angle and locking feature ensures all day accuracy when the level is taken in and out of pockets and pouches. Amplified rare earth magnets give over 2X Holding power over leading competitors. A die cast frame and hang hole ensures lifetime durability. The STUD Tape Measures are the industry’s most durable, long-lasting measuring tapes. They are equipped with heavy-duty EXO360 Blade Technology, protecting the blade from rip and wear damage with a high-density coating that wraps 360 around the blade, delivering the longest lasting blade. STUD measurement tape blade is 10 times more abrasion resistant so the numbers won’t fade. Solid construction and has the magnetic base. One thing that does concern me is there is no shield over the degree dial bubble level. Other than that it is one solid tool that should last a lifetime. I also recommend getting a Milwaukee pouch to protect it when not in use.

Nice and heavy duty. Much better than the old plastic torpedo level it replaced. Very strong magnet. Big plus is the angle dial – never realized how useful that could be. Easy to read even for an old guy. This is built to last and it even looks pretty good too!

While it seems to be a quality basic level, I mistakenly presumed the threaded adjuster seen on the end was geared to the rotating bubble to facilitate its adjustment. As-is, the rotating bubble is stiff in the frame and difficult to set precisely. You basically pinch the bubble enclosure between thumb and forefinger to rotate it – obscuring a good view of the bubble. I bought it on-sale but hoped it would be a little more refined. .

Well made of sturdy materials . I like the easily adjusted locking 360 degree vial. I have not used the level with metal surface to test the strength of the magnets – but they appear to be large enough to secure it.

The level itself is awesome. It’s really made to endure the tough conditions of a job site. The magnets on the level are very strong to ensure no movement and the degree readings are accurate. I had to return the level for a new one as the bubble on the level was way too big for an accurate read. Other then that hiccup it’s a great level!!
