The MILWAUKEE Mini Flush Cutters produce consistent, precise cuts through thin wires and cable ties. The spring-loaded cutter design helps to reduce user fatigue while using the tool. The slim profile allows for better user access to tight spaces. Over-molded grips on the flush wire cutter will not peel after heavy use or exposure to job site conditions. The cutters are built with machined precision and feature rust protection to work harder for longer.

Excellent for small objects like zip ties.

Price is right for this simple cutter. I think the tips could be a little stronger and just a little bit longer. These could be the perfect low voltage flush cutter to trim for rj45 terminations.

I use these flush cutters to clean up my 3D prints and occasional use on wiring. The tip is very sharp, offers up precise cutting, and closes evenly along it’s length. Easily cuts through plastic, copper wire, and insulation. The spring mechanism is well designed as it doesn’t offer up too much resistance and there’s also a built in stop to prevent it from opening too wide. Grips are textured and very comfortable to use, but they could be just a tiny bit thicker. Overall construction is pretty robust as the metal frame is noticeably thicker than my old similar cutters

First, Milwaukee makes excellent tools and this is one. It is a flush cutting tool, very handy in tight spaces. It is spring loaded so it is easier to use. It is fairly small which is perfect for tight work but that also means it has limits on what it can cut. I like the lifetime warranty, always handy on tools. I use it in electrical work to closely trim wires.

This is a awesome pair of compact cutters!! The cutters are extremely comfortable and have the perfect amount of tension in the spring for careful and detailed, precise cutting. The rubber grips are very comfortable as well. In the past, I have used my wife’s cuticle trimmers for any detailed cutting that I had. My wife is very happy to know that I have my own pair of flush cutters! The cutting edge on these cutters is almost surgical type quality. I would highly recommend these to everyone!! A+

First impressions. The grip is about 1/2 the thickness of all the other brands that I have owned over the 15 years I have been using flush cuts. This thinness is different for me, but something I might be able to get used too. The length is the same as other brands, and the flush cut is as smooth as the other brands. I professionally install low voltage systems, so to see Milwaukee (my favorite brand) make tools specific for my trade is great news. The cut is clean and flush, I can run my finger over the cut edge and not hurt myself, which is the purpose of these to do. Overall, happy but they will take some getting used to.

The Milwaukee Mini Flush Cutter is a perfect addition to your cabling tool bag. It is lightweight and feels comfortable in the hand. The cutting area is angled allowing better visibility and easy access to tight spaces. I tested on Cat5E cable and the tool cut easily and quickly through individual conductors as well as the entire cable. What really impressed me was the ability to cut through the jacket string. Most cutters have trouble cutting through the fine threads of the string but this cutter had no trouble severing all strands of the string in a single cut. I did not have any Cat6 pass through connectors to test flush cutting so I mounted a Cat5E cable into a vise and cut the conductors as close as I could to the jaw surface. The cutter did an amazing job of shearing off the conductors close to the surface. Far better than any diagonal cutters I own. These cutters do have spring loaded design which keeps the cutting jaw open. The spring is not very strong so you are not fighting it to cut. What I do miss is a locking lever to keep the cutters shut for storage. Overall this is a quality product at a great price. Highly recommended if you perform cable termination.

Okay, 4 stars with an *. If you’ve purchased these cutters for low zip ties and small gauge, then great. Well constructed for that and that’s why I bought them. They are not perfect for me because I did not consider the grip construction. My hands need to move fast. The extended ends snag when sliding into tool belt pocket. If it becomes a frustration I’ll clip those dog ears off or go back to Fiskars.

I have these for fine work in both electronics and modeling. They are precision made and will cut to exceptionally close tolerances. Most recently I was moding an amplifier circuit board and needed to remove some components and trim new items. Very nice, cuts smoothy through the wires. A good add to my precision toolbox that will be around longer than me.

Works as described. Would have been nice if it locked into a closed position for carrying in tool pouch.
