Great tool, well built, and the grips are easy on the hands.

I would have rated this product higher if the bottom of the pliers did not pinch my hand sometimes when i use them….. Ouch, it pinches enough to almost cause a blood blister!

Great pliers, The shape of the jaw lets you grab a nut like a wrench and wont slip and round the edges.I bought every size they make and love em!!

I give them 4 stars only because of the grip being a tad small for me. My hands are big so, it’s hard not giving 5. You will like the adjustment mechanism!

Very good product!!!

The tab on the side sticks out way to far, making it hard to get to use that side of the pliers in a tight space or if the nut is close to a surface. Makes the slim head almost pointless. Can be hard to get a good grip on the nut or bolt to apply pressure. So far the pliers have held up well in construction. I work in a very wet enviroment and I am not having any rusting issues which is a plus. Good for light weight use only.

I usally go with Irwin on vice grips but i wanted to try somthing differrent. I used these on p traps tightening the nut rings on and off and they have a good hold and grip. Also like that it has a slim jaw line conpared to the Irwin. The only bad thing about these pliers is how the far out the push button sticks out. Other than that im satisfied Would recomened.

cost vs performance, these things rockI probably would of preferred a full grip without their bare ends. I didn’t find myself using them over a pair of linemans instead.

When the pliers close they can sometimes cross over the handles and pinch your hands.

The pliers grip well but the tab that releases the jaws for adjustment sticks out to far causing the tool to catch the tool pouch and pant pockets, it also doesn’t work well when using the tool close to objects for the same reason, such as various fitting on electrical boxes.

Nice set but not for serious professionals. Really tried to love these pliers but they just don’t perform well under continued heavy use. Lasted me a few months (about 2 miles worth of conduit) before they started having issues gripping conduit and fittings. Went back to knipex. My last knipex pair (which were stolen on a job) had 2 years on them and besides a little rust were better than these brand new.

This is the “el cheapo” copy of the wonderful KNIPEX Cobra. It’s not bad, meaning that you will most likely get the job done, however I urge everybody to look at the hex opening at closed… That will be your smallest opening for gripping a hex and it’s huge. I recommend the original (Knipex) over this one, simply because it’s better engineered (self-locking), it’s made of premium German steel and it’s Made in Germany, for a plus of only ten bucks.

I really like the design of these pliers. The pliers grab on great when tightening nuts for supply valves and other installs I did. The teeth are designed to definitely grab. The adjust button at first I had to get use to it because I’m use to the open all the way and adjust type but it works great.

For the most part I am satisfied with these pliers. But I am very unsatisfied with the claim that these pliers have the strongest hold in the category. What they actually do is slip unless the pliers are adjusted exactly right allowing it to grip then it does have a strong grip which will not slip. The problem here is when you are trying to accomplish a task, it is inconvenient to find the exact position that allows pliers to grab correctly. My recommendation for the designer of this tool is to put teeth on the flat surface where they should also be, setting in place a whole gripping surface which will eliminate the problem I have with them.

These have a good fit and feel in the hand. The adjustment system is a little clunky and requires both hands. The grip on round parts is weak, but the hex slot works well. There is flex in the handles which indicates that the force from your hand is not being directed into the teeth for clamping.

needed something to get into a tight space, couldn’t use a ratchet and my regular pliers and wrenches were too wide to allow for much turning. Went to home depot and found these. Great tool, the narrow head allows more turning and they are comfortable to work with.
