These Milwaukee 12″ straight jaw tongue & groove pliers are a must for a home garage or workshop as they are versatile and easy to use. I’m a fan of Milwaukee tools and these adjustable pliers seem quality and well built. The red dipped grips are easy to see if you happen to drop them while working outside as well as the grips allow for a firm grasp. The plier head can also be used to ream the inside of a pipe. A quality item.

Milwaukee is THE name in tools. There is no doubt about it.These pliers are large, 12 inches long, and grip like a vice even with mild hand pressure. You can literally grab these and hold yourself up, they have that much leverage when you really squeeze.Huge 2.5 max opening size grabs all but the biggest parts. Jaws are nearly 1.5 inches deep too.No half shanks here, full metal handles dipped in non slip rubber.Thick beefy jaws and a nice wide hinge lets you grip even large material. You can never have too much plier power and these Milwaukee tools are top notch in my book. You can expect a lifetime of use from these and them some. I call Milwaukee tools heirloom tools. Your grand-kids will inherit these and they will still work.Highly recommended .

With it’s Lifetime Warranty, rust protection, and comfortable grips, this 12 inch set of pliers is a pleasure to use. It’s long handle grip gives you the leverage to really establish a secure grip on anything you’re attempting to bend, twist, or take apart. The serrated, hardened jaw teeth give you the comfort of knowing this grip won’t slip.Overall, this is an absolutely first rate set of pliers to have in your toolbox. It will simply last you many, many years of use.Highly Recommended.

Although I am not a fan of dipped handles and prefer a thick cushioned handle, these pliers were fabulous. I was impressed with the gripping strength of the 12 slip joint pliers as they didn’t damage my rounded stock by stripping it when twisting. I can use them for a good firm holding source when breaking seized fasteners as well as use them to loosen pipe or other round stock. These pliers actually felt good in my hand both with and without gloves and have a robust feel when you grip them. I didn’t get the impression that when I really gripped down, the handles were bending or the jaws would let go. This is now a regular in my tool kit.

This is another well made Milwaukee tool. These pliers are heavy duty with comfortable dipped hand grips. Being 12″ long, the pliers give you plenty of leverage for twisting and opening stubborn items. The jaws open to a full 2 inches allowing you to grip large items. As an added bonus, these pliers have a reaming head for reaming and smoothing the inside of pipe. Another great tool for my tool box.

This is a great pair of pliers. Nice comfortable grip feels light weight but strong in your hand. They are adjustable out to 2 1/4 inches allowing a variety of issues. One of the grips has a knock out tool and the other can be used to ream pipe. Overall very strong gripping pliers. I’ve used it quite a bit and haven’t had any slip nor do I think any of the jaw teeth will chip. I will definitely recommend this product and am completely satisfied with its use

Well made pliers, the feel on the rubber handles is what I like the most . Just a good feel like picking up a hammer or a set of lineman pliers. You just know the feel is just right. The reaming head is a great feature if you want to smooth out the inside of the pipe after cutting I was thinking like black pipe used as gas line or other pipe.I’m starting to like Milwaukee hand tools and the price is very reasonable. They aren’t real heavy or real light, just enough steel in the tool to make it a nice weight for heavy duty or light work. I recommend these pliers and I needed to replace my 10″ Channel Lock slip joint pliers. I think I will love this tool much better. Made in USA with a limited lifetime warranty .

These are strong and sturdy pliers. The gray metal finish looks like a fine sandblasted finish except for where the tip of the pliers is machine ground. The handle grip is very comfortable in my hand. The red plastic hand grips are snug and beautiful. The slip joint hinge is snug. The hinge has no adjustment nut and is permanently attached. There are 7 slip joint grooves to choose from for selecting the jaw opening size.

Milwaukee tools are known for their rugged, no-nonsense construction and long life in daily use. This tool is no exception, with forged metal construction making it stronger than similar items not so fabricated. This item arrived without damage, but the package was difficult to open and required a sharp tool to cut open the plastic covering. Sometimes called a “channel-lock” type pliers (after a very popular brand), the tool feels good in your hand and provides a secure, size-adjustable grip on whatever you plan to do. It is slightly larger than most pliers of its type. I would caution those using it that a specific size socket or wrench is almost always better to use than a pliers when available and appropriate for the situation. But especially in the larger sizes, which this plier can be adjusted to, many of us do not have suitable wrenches, so this item fills an important role.

It was finally time to replace my old rusty pliers with a new one and this is what I picked. Great product, strong, comfortable handle, seems very very durable and does what I need it to do, Especially handy for the larger fittings on my pool pump and filter system. Milwaukee makes great products and I’m very happy to have this in my arsenal of tools. Another pleasant surprise was it’s ability to ream or smooth out the inside of a pipe because of it’s specific head design. Also the adjustable size works very well with the way it’s engineered using wider tracks for the pliers “head”. I like this item!!

The 12 inch straight jaw pliers from Milwaukee are a top of the line tool that has many qualities. Besides having a lifetime warranty, the grips are made to fit your hand. They are forged steel for strength and are also have a rust protection. I have used many other brands of this similar type of pliers and this is the best I have used. In my opinion, Milwaukee is the best tool made.

The jaws on these pliers got some real good bite when you need it. I’ve had it about a month and I’ve already used the heck out it for many different Plumbing jobs and other things. The handle itself is nice because even when it was wet during the job I still was able to get a good grip. It doesn’t feel like the plastic or rubber over molding on the grip would come off over time and it was pretty hot some of the days I used it and the handle didn’t get hot. The jaws are nice and the teeth still look perfect after some pretty tough jobs. I didn’t feel any flex on the pliers either when I put a lot of force. Milwaukee’s doing pretty good in the plumbing category. Liking it a lot so far.

Great slip-joint pliers! Milwaukee’s traditional fine reliable construction, works good in the hand.I have many tools “right” for certain jobs. But a lot of jobs I fall back on big slip-joint pliers. Fits almost any size. Gives huge leverage. As pliers, but also as a pry-er, and even a reamer. This type tool is over 80 years old. The original is still good, but the market is flooded with cheap knock-offs. They don’t adjust well, stick and jam, the joint screw loosens, the surfaces are rough, the teeth don’t grip. I have several but wanted something better. Milwaukee tools are good so I got these. I am fully satisfied. The fit and finish is excellent. They work smoothly, no bind. They do appear to be forged, not cast like most cheap slip-joint pliers. This means the steel was hammered into shape, there will not be any casting-flaws or weak-spots. The teeth are strong and sharp. The cushion handles are comfy. The nose is specifically shaped so you can ream a burr inside a pipe-end.

These are absolutely the best large pliers that I have ever known. I have used it to work on the kitchen sink and it was perfect. The handles are solid, dont slip, and your hand grips easily. There is no movement or wiggle which makes the job easier to get done. I have happy to own these and hope that my usage is limited to home improvements but I can see why my plumber was jealous when he saw them.

The Milwaukee 12 in. Straight Jaw Pliers are very well designed with ergonomic handles with dipped grips. They boast a 2 1/4 in jaw capacity. The pliers teeth create a very secure grip for any material you are working with. The pliers are primarily designed for working with pipes or conduits and other hard to grip materials. These pliers are great to have in the tool bag and can be used for multiple applications.
