These are awesome because they come in handy in the home. I needed to use them last time for some instrument repairs. I tend to have to cut my guitar strings and other things like that and I found these to be most helpful and efficient. I wanted to use them on my next project in the house regarding fixing my gate. It cuts really good and I like that they’re easy to clean.

This is a fantastic cutting plier with the added feature of a slight angle at its head which allows it to be an excellent nail, etc puller. The jaw of the cutter opens to about .75 inches, which is wider than my old pair of “side-cutters.” The distinctive Milwaukee “Red” colored insulated grips feel great in your hand, and these cutters are a bit longer (8 inches) than my old pair, which provides me with a bit of diversity in side cutters.

Rugged and strong – easily cut an 8-penny nail (2.5”). The long, strong grips help provide great leverage. I used these both to cut some old antenna wires (remember when we used antennas on the roof?) then cut off an 8D nail when it was easier to cut than extract. These are a high-quality addition to my tool bag! Klein tools have always been high quality, professional grade – more than I deserve as a home DIY guy, but very reliable & rugged.

There are many aspects when I select a tool, since I use it for my lifetime. I have true confidence in tools made by Milwaukee, since they are one of the best manufacturers of tools. This tool, is an addition to my tool box. I do appreciate its qualities and uses. The Forged steel is very strong and will not blunt. The cutting blades are very sharp. The angled head has some special needs and uses for the technician, when comparing to other pliers. The dipped handles are very comfortable to the bare hand and are slip resistant, as well as very ergonomic: another great tool from Milwaukee.

8 IN. DIPPED GRIP DIAGONAL-CUTTING PLIER WITH ANGLED HEAD This is a great product. It is very comfortable in my hand. It’s got a very good luck to it. Catch through staples and nails and wire very well. It is very well-made and start he give me the look I was looking for in a great pair pliers. I am very happy with this project. I highly recommend it to all my friends and coworkers.

I have been using these cutting pliers to cut fence wire and clip the ends off of 8d nails in a demolition project. They cut easily and so far nothing has dulled or broken the blades. The handles give good leverage. The blades open and close smoothly. The angled head is a knuckle saver when cutting close to surfaces. The blades cut all the way to the ends for nipping into corners. Very durable construction, good finished metal surfaces, and comfortable dipped handles.

Love it way cheaper than Klein’s

In my work I use diagonal pliers for every job and they are a very important part of my tool belt/box. I usually go through one or two pair a year. I ordered these 8” dipped handle cutters with angled head for my tool belt. They fit my hand well and give a good amount of leverage while putting them to the task. The angled head makes them great for nail pulling or getting into tight spaces. They are not too bulky and fit well in my belt. The red color handles make them easy to find on the job site if I forget to stow them in my belt. Milwaukee tools carry the lifetime warranty for the piece of mind. I will be getting another pair for my shop. Great tool by Milwaukee. These are better than I expected for the price.

Best diagonal cutters I have ever used! Really comfortable in the hand – makes cutting wire effortless. Been using these for about a month now. Great for pulling staples and nails. They are easy to get into fairly tight spaces. The beveled cutting edges will not cut perfectly flush, but for flush cuts you would need a finer edge that would not hold up near as well. I have to admit I haven’t done a lot of abusive heavy cutting and although I feel confident these would do the job, I like them so much I just don’t want to risk any damage. I have a lot of Milwaukee battery tools and cannot say enough good thing about them. As I use more of the Milwaukee had tools I have to say I am every bit as pleased with them as well. The old adage holds true – buy right, buy once, buy cheap, buy many times. Would not want to do without these.

(What’s this?)I have quite a few Milwaukee tools, I am extremely happy with them, they have fantastic products. This pair of cutters are no different. 8 inches long perfect size. Great design for gripping. I am a painter so I don’t use these much for cutting wires. I use them mainly for cutting nails. They work great for that. Often I have to cut nails that roofers hammer down through the eaves of a house. I hate that. so I go up my ladder cut them and paint. love these cutters.

Ok, so to start I wasn’t sure I would like these pliers but I have got to where they are my go to pick. The dipped handles are just what is needed to get the job done and they have a good grip that isnt your textbook slick handle. The length of the pliers are just right for a large hand and the angle is perfect for when you have a tight spot to get into. The cutters are sharp and very good metal so that you can cut up to 1/4″ brake lines very easily and with little effort. If I had to name something about them I don’t like its that the tip is very blunt and thick so its not the best for digging things out. All in all I am very happy with the pliers and highly recommend them. enjoy the pics as you can tell I use them often in my shop.

These are well-crafted pliers with pretty comfortable grips. They are a little stiff to open, but that may ease-up after more use. They cut wire very effectively, but I noticed that they don’t allow wire to be cut flush with a surface. I used them to cut some brads that were protruding from a 2×4 and they left a stub of wire above the surface. This was because the cutting edges are tapered on both edges (the inside edge and the outside edge). The taper on the outside edge prevents flush cutting (see photo). Aside from this, the pliers are quite nice and I expect them to last for a very long time.

Whether cutting wire or cotter pins, there is a great amount of leverage in these pliers for their size. They have a sturdy feel and great cutting jaws. I did not feel like the metal would get damaged when cutting off thicker cotter pins for removal. The angle of the jaw is just right for cutting nearly flush to a flat surface when cutting pins or wire that is protruding. This is now the go to tool for angle head cutting jobs. Only gripe, I don’t like dipped handles as much as the formed ones.

You cannot beat Milwaukee tools I have used them for years and they have never let me down. The 8 inch grip diagonal cutting plier with angled head tool is exception. They come with a lifetime warranty on them. This tool comes in handy in tight places when you need to cut wire or something else like a small nail. The grips are wonderful when you use this tool they want slip out of your hands or the grips want come off while you are using them like they do on some tools you can buy out there. What I really like about this tool it even has rust protection built in to it so if you get them wet you want have to worry about them rusting on you. But I would still dry them off to take care of them. This tool will be around for me several years from now and they are built to last.

You can never have enough quality hand tools around the home and this Milwaukee 8-inch cutting plier is no exception. Perfect for general purpose cutting such as cutting strapping, wires, and pallet strapping. Quality of the steel appears top notch and requires minimal amount of oiling to insure many years of trouble free reliability. You can spend less for a tool this size however the old adage still holds true ……”……you get what you pay for”. Milwaukee stands by this tool so confidently they even provide a limited lifetime warranty against defects and workmanship.
