Great little compact tape measure. I bought it for my son as his first tape measure because it seems solidly built and kids love flashlights. It also has both metric and standard units which help in teaching him. But I do keep borrowing it to use myself too.

Another great product from the people at Milwaukee. This is a great compact keychain tape measure. The LED light is great and makes a big difference in seeing the markings, especially as I get older. I really like the keychain clip that can attach to a belt loop even if you don’t wear a belt, or can attach to loops on tool bags. The magnetic back is nice for holding it in place, but the downside is it can get stuck to tools or small metal objects in the tool box/bag.

I carry several tape measures but there are times when all I need is a tiny unit especially when I have a dozen other tools. When working in small spaces like an electrical control panel, this little tape measure is perfect. I just tossed my el-cheapo in the trash because I’m not going back. The magnet is handy for placing it inside an enclosure instead on top of my ladder. The LED is absolutely necessary for us guys that work in dark factories. The metric side is absolutely necessary since so many components are from Germany/Japan that need to be sized. And I really like the keychain lanyard, this keeps it inside my backpack exactly where I attached it instead of falling around with the other small tools. Awesome buy!

Nice pocket-sized tape, great for leaving in the cupholder in the truck to easy access. It says it’s a “keychain” tape measure, but I think it’s a bit large for that (unless you’re someone that doesn’t mind a really big bunch of keys/stuff on your keyring). There is no belt clip on this tape.Clear markings are easy to read by the over-50 set and the lock sets easily to hold it in place. The built-in flashlight is easy to use and shines directly on the tape. This is only helpful if you ever have to measure in the dark or forgot your glasses. Way to go, Milwaukee!I thought I’d like the magnet on the back of the case to hold the it in place when pulling out the tape. It turns out that it’s a bit of a weakling. Works well for sticking it to the back of your toolbox lid though.

Milwaukee 10 ft. Keychain Tape Measure with LED Light review – Once again, this is ANOTHER great Milwaukee product. I don’t think the people at Milwaukee know how to make a bad product; every single Milwaukee product I have (and I have more than a few) just work and work and work and never give me any trouble. This tape measure is another example. It is very durable and 10 feet is long enough for DIY inside chores. It even has a LED light to illuminate your work area or tool-bag when searching for a tool. It is a bit thick so that it is a tiny difficult to cram in a bluejeans pocket but this thing can take a beating and keep on trucking. I just cannot figure out where the battery is and how to change it??? Lovin’ it! There ya go!
