I love this tape! I always carried a Fatmax 16’ before this and liked it. Soon as I tried this tape I liked it much more than the fat max. I really like how it auto locks so you don’t have to try and lock the blade with the worthless blade lock like other tapes have. The only complaint I would say is, if the blade is only out 2”-5” or so after a little use the tape does not “Auto lock” on those lower numbers. Not a big deal. Standout is also not that great. It’s not often you’re measuring something so high you can’t make it work. At least for me.

This tape measure was my favorite by far when first purchased; I even bragged to coworkers about how much I liked it. Then, after about three months of use the auto-lock feature stopped working and the paint on the bottom side of the tape started to wear off. After disassembling the tape measure, I found there are three plastic ribs on each half of the body which were badly worn. I added a couple layers of thin rubber tape to both halves, cleaned the rubber feet that hold the tape and for now the tape measure is like new (besides the yellow paint). I am surprised how fast this tape measure wore out and if I didn’t like it so much I would have set it aside and got a different brand. I would recommend this tape to someone for only occasional use but definitely not for everyday use or for a large project.

it works exactly as I expected it to. love being able to pull out the tape measure and have it stay and not try and roll back in. The standoff was actually around 11 ft. All in all a very good product. Would definitely buy it again and recommended it .

This tape measure is rigid enough to hold it shape during long measures. Most tape measures I’ve had bend after 5 of 6 feet. Also the markings on the tape measure are hard to find on others.

Great everyday light duty tape measure. The only cons are that after a year of use the autolock function stopped working and the tape would not stand out anymore. As well as the rigidity of the tape softened. Had to buy new one after a year.
