After getting the 15 inch version of this wrench a little while back I was really impressed with the quality of the tool. I really like the precision of the fit on these Milwaukee adjustable wrenches. So I got the other sizes as well replacing a selection of older crescent wrenches I had in my box. These are machined precisely enough that there is almost no slop when you set them. Thus the action on them during adjustment is smooth as well. They move around extremely little once set. I can’t say zero but it is close enough to it for my use. And this makes the guides that every one has useful too since they are accurate enough that the size on the guide is meaningful and not just some vague estimate. These are definitely a step up from my trusty older ones. Those have served OK for years but these will be easier to use. The trouble with the old ones was due to the slop in the fit you were always loosening to get it off then tightening after going on the nut or bolt head. Without that slop that’s less hassle and time and aggravation saved. All in all these are some pretty nice adjustable wrenches.

This handy little 6″ adjustable wrench made by Milwaukee is a great size for smaller spaces. It feels great in your hand but it’s surprisingly heavier than you’d think. The jaws open up to 15/16″ wide which will accommodate a huge array of bolts. The throat has incremental etched measurements in both SAE and metric on the opposite side. The locking gear works quite well. There’s very little movement once the jaws are adjusted to a size. Very snug fit! I’m used to holding my thumb on the gearing to lock it in and it seems to do stay locked with little effort. That said, it’s not difficult to remove the wrench from the bolt head when you’re done so just the right amount of play. This has become my go-to wrench for most jobs that don’t require leverage. I’ll probably end up buying the larger size soon. Great job Milwaukee!

I kind of feel like Crocodile Dundee when I’m wielding this monster… “That’s not a wrench, THAT’S a wrench!”. This thing is ridiculously enormous. It’s not the absolute highest quality wrench I’ve seen, but it will certainly get the job done. You can tell that the parts are first cast and bead blasted, then the mating surfaces and work faces are milled and finally the outer top of the wrench is ground to a high finish before painting. The main adjustment screw is held in with a press pin (the only thing I don’t particularly care for) as opposed to a set screw. I prefer the set screw approach because it allows you to disassemble, clean and lubricate all the parts. Thankfully, this wrench is big enough that small amounts of grime shouldn’t bother the action too much and larger particles should be easy to remove. The jaws on this open to nearly 2in, so this wrench should work great for some of your largest jobs. The length of the handle means that you’ll have PLENTY of leverage to turn even the most stubborn things with relative ease.

Extremely well made. I love everything about this wrench!first off, the jaws are really great being square as they are. They grip the edges of bolts nicely. The knurled adjustment knob is really great. When adjusted, there’s absolutely no movement of the jaws as others tend to do.The weight of the wrench is great and the balance is dead on.Overall, this wrench is one of the better ones I’ve owned….Like most individuals, we’ve all had our fair share of wrenches in various conditions and quality. This wrench is the perfect all-in-one size to have in your toolbox…For sure!!!Highly Recommended!!!!!

Got a great deal on this wrench. Never can have too many wrenches in the old tool chest. Have used it a couple of times since I picked it up.. Easy to use the rachet to adjust the size. The wrench seems to hold very well. As most of you know, you need to rotate to the head of the wrench when spinning to get the wrench to work correctly. Takes a minimum amount to reduce the rachet, turn the wrench and adjust to size again to turn again.. Like the rubber grip. Hopefully will be in the tool box for years.

Have used different brands of adjustable wrenches and these are best that I have worked with so far. Presently I am in the process of acquiring the various sizes. I am very satisfied with the usability of these tools.

I have used it about everyday since I got it. It comes in real handy especially when it comes to disassembling and reassembling 8 inch backflow that are rusty. Perfect tool for the job.

Every tool I have ever had from Milwaukee has not only performed well, but has also lasted many years. This wrench is very well made and has a nice balance and feel to it. The adjusting screw loosens and tightens the jaw opening smoothly. There is no sloppy feel to the jaws when they are open and so far I agree with the manufacturer that the new design keeps the jaws from working loose during use. A little pricey but sometimes you get what you pay for.

I don’t really agree with the measurement marks, it is an adjustable wrench. When I look at something I could be close to knowing the size so you would have to take extra time to set it to that size by looking instead of just putting it on and adjusting, overkill. Wrench is heavy, I have used my tools for other things then intended for which makes this lower than the old style because of the plastic part in the handle. 3 STARS because of price and plastic.
