Definitely durable. Use these in an industrial lighting field. Where lights are bolted down and sometimes epoxied. Great for breaking the fixture free of the base. Confident using these to pry up a 2×4 double plate with ease.

Excellent design, metal shaft extends through handle for rough use, super strong and looks to be a life long tool.

This is a very heavy duty pry bar set built for demo like purposes. The bars are very sturdy, very heavy and very solid. If you are looking for something to use for a more light application like auto trim this is not the set for you. The handles are comfortable and you can really get a lot of leverage an torque with some of the bigger pry bars. An excellent set of bars to have around for various projects.

For their size, they do an excellent job of moving parts and material for fab and repair jobs, and they compare well with sets sold by Snap-On, Cornwell, etc., but at 1/3 the cost.

I was anticipating receiving this set but not really anticipating something to use them on (like a broken brake). Luckily, my neighbor was replacing the front bearings on his pickup and looked like he needed help. In came the Milwaukee pry bar set to the rescue. These pry bars came in handy as I don’t think we could have removed the parts otherwise (unless we had a specialty tool or a torch). His truck came from Michigan where they salt the roads which meant that everything under the car was crusty and needed to be “coaxed” loose. • The I-beam design of the pry bars keeps them from bending and allows for much more pressure that can be leveraged. • The only drawback is that these tools look so good new that I didn’t want to mar the tip or get them dirty but after all, they are a tool and are meant to be used (not really a drawback).• The grips are comfortable to hold don’t have any sharp edges or mold-seams to scratch your hand on. • The end of the bars have a metal strike cap that allows you to pound on them without worrying about shattering the grip. • The chrome finish looks good and should keep the tools from rusting. While this set might be a little more expensive than some others, it is a Milwaukee tool which means quality, durability and usability. I think that any home mechanic (or professional) would be happy to have this set.

These pry bars are nice and seem to be good quality. I have used them a couple of times already and I am happy with them they don’t bend like some of my other pry bars so I think they should hold up for a long time even with heavy use
