Very happy with purchase

The wrenches seem to be durable and will do as good of a job as any high priced wrench should do, …..so far anyway. The plastic tray on the other hand is very flimsy and will not last heavy use.

These wrenches are excellent tools. I’ve been using them for a couple of months. The quality is top-notch and the combination of open-end wrench and ratcheting functionality is very useful to me. I bought a 1/2+9/16 combination ratcheting wrench a couple of years ago and I’ve long wanted to get an entire set. Now I have it.The “Max bite” grip on the open-end dramatically improves the wrench’s grip on small nuts and bolts. When these fasteners are torqued on tight, I sometimes have difficulty getting them loose without rounding off the points on the hex heads. The max bite really increases the probability that I can get the nut loose without damaging the heads. The wrenches come in a very useful carrying case. I put mine in one of the drawers (22.25 wide x 16.75 deep) in my toolbox and it fits perfectly with the companion case for the metric set (see photo).

These tools are well made (expected from Milwaukee) and perform very well. I have gotten a lot of use from these wrenches. I already have shorter ratcheting wrenches, but that set has 2 sizes on each wrench and the direction of ratchet must be changed by moving a switch. The Milwaukee combo wrenches give you both an open-end wrench and ratcheting box. An arrow shows the direction to move wrench. The storage package keeps the wrenches together and organized.

As anyone who has ever worked with a wrench knows, some spots are so tight that getting a wrench or socket on the bolt head or nut, is extremely difficult. On the other hand, some locations will accommodate a box end wrench but not a socket. In this second case, having a ratcheting box end makes the job much easier. The Milwaukee 15 piece set of box/open end wrenches covers nearly all the SAE sizes likely to be needed in the one inch and under range. A comparison of the ratcheting heads with two other brands of the same revealed that the overall size of the Milwaukee heads is actually slightly smaller than the comparables. The open ends of this set appear to be precise in size and designed for effecient use. Each wrench size is painted on both ends in contrasting color making it easy to identify.

I received my 7 piece Milwaukee’s Ratcheting SAE Combination Metric Wrenches. The 7-piece kits come in a portable, locking storage tray, offering organization both on and off the job-site. The sizes are 3/8”, 7/16”, 1/2″, 9/16”, 5/8”, 11/16”, 3/4″. Milwaukee Ratcheting Combination Wrenches offer a 2.5° of Arc Swing, using double-stacked pawls offering users 144 ratcheting positions which make them work in really tight places. The Max bite open-end grip improves the wrench’s grip on nuts and bolts, offering 25% more Torque than smooth-faced wrenches. The wrenches are marked in Ink-filled red so they are very easy to read the size on them. Milwaukee offers a Lifetime Guarantee on all of our Ratcheting Combination Wrench Sets.

Milwaukee’s ratcheting wrenches offer some unique features and a level of quality on par with professional brands. Their strengths include a dual pawl design that gives 120 positions and an insane 2.5 deg swing arc, letting you get the fastener moving in the tightest of places. The chrome is impeccable. They have rounded edges on the bar and a groove along the length of it which both offer nice grips and are easy on the hands, if a little more difficult to hold onto with greasy hands. The open end has teeth and ridges for excellent grilling of fasteners without rounding, while a cutout makes lining up a fastener easy. They are non-reversing and therefore do not offset on the box end. They are also standard length, but comparable in price to the GearWrench XL. Finally, they are manufactured in Taiwan to Mulwaukee’s typically exacting standards. My only issue wasn’t with the wrenches themselves, although a couple of the ratcheting mechanisms were a little stiff and less smooth than the others. The initial shipment was misting two of the wrenches. However, Home Depot and Milwaukee took care of it promptly. These being a new product from Milwaukee’s Taiwan manufacturing, I’m sure Milwaukee will straighten this sort of thing out.All in all, an excellent first effort at the Ratcheting Wrench market for Milwaukee, if a tad on the high end price wise. Even so, buyers of these wrenches are likely to feel they got their money’s worth.

These were a Father’s Day gift for my husband, but we both love them. Makes using a wrench so much easier! They come in both Imperial and Metric Measurements. We went with the Imperial, but might invest in the metric for our bike and auto needs. They are a hefty price, but work much better and more smoothly than our previous smaller set that was only $30. These don’t stick when you use the ratchet. Also there are 15 sizes up to 1 inch it makes it easy to find the size that you need. Super nice for getting to hard to reach places like behind or under a toilet. Also, when we put together our shed, it was nice to have these as you could not always see the nuts that needed tightening – so this was so much easier than having to place the wrench on and off multiple times. We also like that the set came with it’s only mounting case – we haven’t found a home for it, but it will soon be on the wall for easier access to the tools.
