The biggest issue my husband has had with open ended wrenches is the slippage that occurs when applying high torque. It hurts and damages his hand. He does most of the projects that require high torque. Milwaukee has solved this with a new, innovative design. By putting a series of ribs and a special contour at the center of the open wrench part of the tool, the wrench grabs the nut in a manner that makes the nut’s hex points catch on one of the ribs and reduces the chance of slippage.The 7 wrenches step in 1/16” increments from ⅜ to ¾ “. The size labels are engraved four times on each wrench and painted red which makes it easy to spot the right size quickly. This is nice since I get the job of handing the correct size to him when we are working on a project. The I-beam handle design makes the handle very comfortable.The storage case with the tote handle on top is a useful addition which helps me keep my wrenches organized. The storage case enables one to more easily find the wrenches in our tool bag, and it is easy to carry the wrenches around from project to project. You do need to make sure that the latch is closed securely or the wrenches will all fall out.This SAE Wrench Set is of very high quality, innovative/improved design, easy to identify right size, and high user comfort. Anyone who uses these wrenches will never want to go back to older wrench designs.

7 wrench Metric set. 8mm to 17mm, set includes a case to organize . These wrenches have a nice feel in the hand , a clean profile for better access to faster and a good reach for torque in proportion to its size. The open end has a clean 4 point that meets the fastener along with indented ridges for gripping. The sizing markers on each tool is inset with black paint for better identification. The holder is mounded plastic with a flip cover and imprinted size identification. The chrome finish is good in the handle however the actual gripping area especially at the gripping ridges are inconsistent. The open and close ends fit accurate on sized fasteners. In comparison to my Snap on or Mac tools they have a good feel, however head sizing for tight spaces are not equal along with fit and finish. I do like the fact that the sizes are painted in black on the tool however I wish the holder sizing was painted additionally. These are perfect for any DIY tool box or for a field bag and will get the job done . Taken care of should last a long timej

If it comes from Milwaukee tools it has my vote. Milwaukee has always been a mainstay of commercial grade power tools, now, with this line of hand tools their legacy continues to grow. These combination wrenches are set apart by the gripping power of the open end side of the wrenches. They have little ridges that really bight in and hold the nuts or bolts. I look forward to many years of service from these solidly built tools.

Nice set of wrenches in a slick little package that turns into a great tool holder.I didn’t actually have a full set of metric wrenches, just the random ones I needed back in the days when I had a VW Microbus and couldn’t afford to hire others to work on it. But this is a nice set of metric combination wrenches. I really like the handle shape. I also found that the “anti-slip” ridges they have added to the open end really do improve the gription. We tested these out by taking apart an old imported bicycle and putting it back together again. The wrenches fit nicely.The package these come in is pretty clever. The open end of the wrench fits onto an angled, molded rod. With the holder hanging on the wall, the wrenches hang straight down. But when you grab the box end, the wrench falls perfectly into your hand.I’m not big on brand loyalty, but the nicely engraved “Milwaukee” legend on the handles is a nice touch if your shop is already stocked with red and gray tools.

I have always felt that Milwaukee tools were a cut above the average and these wrenches are no exception!! They have loads of extra features including a lifetime warranty. They can be stored in a convenient hand held storage rack. The size of the wrench is highlighted by an ink filled recess in the side of the wrench for quick identification. They have an unique I-beam design that makes them comfortable to use and are chrome plated for durability. In summary – great wrenches !!

It is truly amazing how many of my tools and yard equipment are metric. So many of the parts and changeable items are metric bolts and hex screws. Thanks to the seeds program and to Home Depot (where I buy all my equipment and tools) I have access to high quality tools and general equipment to use around my homes and property. This Milwaukee Max Bite wrench set is great! Starting with the plastic case. It is very well built and has markings for each different wrench size for easy placement once used. It is a set of 7 wrenches. These are a must have for anyone with European/import cars or outboard motors. The max bite feature is great. They are designed to give you 25% more grabbing torque than other conventional wrenches. It also helps with not stripping down fasteners. Both sides showed very tight grip on fasteners. I love the concave body of the wrench, it allows for better gripping with your thumb. They also look great. Milwaukee did a great job at finishing these tools. These have lifetime warranty, so you can’t beat that either. In my opinion these are well worth the price!
