We got this to use with our spring yardwoingrk and landscaping projects. The ability to stretch out up to 120 feet of tape to measure and mark out straight lines and edges for our projects. The really helped us with the lay out and set up of the flower beds and retainer bricks. I know without a doubt we will find other uses for our yard work, interior work etc fir this tape and we now wonder how we ever got along without it.

I needed a fish tape to pull some CAT5 cable for a small remodeling project we are working on. I have borrowed a steel one from a friend previously but need one of my own. This tape is flexible (borderline too flexible) and doesn’t kink. It is rated as non-conductive and that is for safety if you are pulling through areas with live power. The case is very sturdy and the tape feeds out and recoils easily

Worked great , works much better than the idea one this replaced

Like the fact that this fish tape is not conductive and it weights a little less and should not rust like those metal ones. The operation of the wheel is very smooth making the drawing and retrieving of the tape very easy. It feels like it is on a set of ball bearing. Also, the tape does not kink !!! The tape is not marked but you can monitor how much tape is left inside the wheel thru a set of window openings on the side of the wheel. I haven’t try to push it thru a conduit yet so I can’t comment on it.

I was frustrated with the fish tape that I purchased 5 years ago from another company. I had problems with getting the tape back into the case all the time. So I saw Milwaukee started to make fish tapes now. I am hoping they make a better fish tape then the other companies.I ordered the Milwaukee 100 ft polyester fish tape with the non-conductive tip from the Home Depot. When it was delivered to my house the box it came in had no damage the fish tape was surrounded in air pillows to protect the new fish tape. I was utterly surprised how nice it looked. The first thing I did, I pulled the fish tape out about 30 feet and retracted the fish tape back into the case. This told me everything I finally have a fish tape that operates with ease. Milwaukee out did theirselves again. Trust me when I say this, Milwaukee will sell millions of these fish tapes.I really like the fact that the tape is a triple strand design for more flexibility and it won’t kink and for easier feeding the EMT. The outstanding Innovation that went into this low-friction case makes it so easy to retract the 3-strand polyester fish tape. I also was very excited to see they added a non-conductive tip. This means I can never be shocked by using this fish tape. The handle is a multi-position handle the top side of the handle is for carrying the fish tape the back part of the handle is for when you are retracting the fish tape and they made it big enough so you can wear gloves. The handle and case is 17 – 1/2 in. In height and the case is 13 in. wide and 2 -1/4 in. thick and weighs 4.6 lbs. There are also four handles on the inner part of the case that measures in at 4 in. wide that’s for holding the case when retracting the fish tape. This Milwaukee fish tape is made in Taiwan but it’s all quality and it’s made better than a lot of the American ones.If your a electrician, contractor or homeowner, and want the best fish tape, this is the one you want you will thank me later. I do recommend this Milwaukee fish tape 100% for EMT. This fish tape was a joy to use that’s why I’m giving it 5 stars.

The mac-daddy of fishing tape. Love the non-conductive tip since we are primary using this tape to run electrical wire. Milwaukee is a top notch brand and so is this tape. Super easy to fish and to reel the tape back into the housing. Reasonably flexible with the braided polyester wire. No complaints so far, this is my first tape and I’m sure I will never need a replacement. Good size and fits in my hand nicely (See photos)

From all the information I have been able to find on fish tapes in general; what they are used for, what makes a good tape, what makes a bad tape experience. Milwaukee appears to have produced another winner. This polyester fish tape is made of top quality materials and the assembly given the attention to detail that produces excellence. My husband has worked with several brands of steel fish tapes over the years. When he saw and worked with this tape, he was impressed!!! The thing he liked the best was the smooth effortless playout and rewind . He is a polyester fish tape convert. Well done Milwaukee!!

Great wrenches, best for the money imo. V groove, non-slip open end aren’t usually affordable.

Works very well in larger conduit, especially around bends. This fish tape is a very innovative design. Not my favorite though. Super flexible, completely non conductive, and very sturdy. I feel like this fished better through conduit that already had wire than my other fish tapes. Its a bit heavier than my other non-conductive fish tapes, and a bit larger as well. The design causes it to make more noise when pulling the fish out or rolling it in. The size of the tip will also cause some issues for 1/2″ conduit.

The “120 ft. x 1/8 in. Steel Fish Tape”, in my opinion one of the best in the market. It is very well built, with strong hi quality material, a true Milwaukee tool. This tool is designed in such a way that it can be very easily transported, held in place during insertion and retraction of wires, cables, cords, etc. and to work thru conduit bends. Also is mostly helpful when “long” runs are required to avoid frequent use of pull boxes.I liked, recommend it and I know you will too.

This Milwaukee 120 foot by 1/8 inch steel fish tape is a nice product. It is wound within an easy roll up housing that is a low friction case with square inner grips and a multi position handle that turns around the outside as you roll it up. The tape is a flexible blue tempered steel that has laser etched markings on it every foot to help you tell how far you have gone within a wall etc.

Not that good for 3/4 conduit

Excellent tool for Electricians and even DIY people. The quality is excellent as compared to Klein and Ideal. Non-conductive fish tapes can break, as they are not meant for heavy loads. All in all 5 stars would recommend to anyone in the market.

Knowing very little about steel fish tapes, I had to do some research. I learned about what they are used for, how they are used, problems and what makes a great fish tape experience. Comparing what I learned to the promo for this steel fish tape and actually handling the fish tape…Milwaukee has done it again!! Quality materials and meticulous attention to detail always results in a superior product you can actually feel when it is handled. My husband has worked with a variety of steel fish tapes for years. His reaction to this tape? “WOW”!!! Well done Milwaukee!!

The Milwaukee 100 ft. Polyester Fish Tape with Non-Conductive Tip has shown me once again that the Milwaukee name means quality tools. The tape has everything you might want in a fish tape, a non-conductive tip, polymer tape, and a sturdy high impact case. Worked great for a 50ft pull through a 3/4 inch conduit no hang ups and no stops and that’s all I ask but Millwaukee went one better and included a Lifetime warranty.
