This Milwaukee Combo Kit features a 90-tooth ratchet tool that provides 4° of arc swing and a slim profile for work in tighter spaces. The included ratchet and socket set has FOUR FLAT Sides that prevent rolling and are wrench compatible. Sizes are stamped into each socket for easy-to-read visibility. Users can keep both the SAE and Metric 56-piece. and 50-piece 1/4 in. Drive Ratchet and Socket Sets organized in the included PACKOUT Compact Low-Profile Organizer with a clear top for easy identification of parts at a glance. This PACKOUT Organizer is IP65 rated and built from impact-resistant materials for durability on and off the jobsite. The Low-Profile Organizer is part of the Milwaukee PACKOUT Modular Storage System, allowing users to custom build storage systems to easily transport and organize their tools and accessories. This Milwaukee Combo Kit includes a 106 total pieces: a 56-Piece 3/8 in. Drive Ratchet and Socket Set (48-22-9008), a 50-Piece 1/4 in. Milwaukee as usual does it again! Love thePackout kid with the SAE and Metric wrenches. Something that I didn’t really pay attention to until I used it was the actual pack out case, the top, as you’ll see the photos, the top its almost “compartmentalized” so you can place a couple bolts in one area dn some others in a different area so you don’t get them confused with one another. The wrenches are awesome, clearly labled. The only I mean only downfall I can find is that there is a not an adapter to go from1/4″ to 3/8″ or visa versa in case you need to for whatever reason but hopefully this case prevents losing sockets in the first place so you shouldn’t need to adapt. Love It, get yourself one!

I love the organization of it. Fits perfectly with the rest of my packout cases. The engraving on the flat part of the sockets makes it easy to read. The square part of the socket can be used with a wrench for additional torque, and keeps it from rolling.

Where can I start telling you all the good points to this socket set except this is the perfect 3/8 and 1/4 inch socket set. The carrying case is a low profile case with sturdy latches to keep it secure. You have a complete set of deep well and standard sockets in both metric and SAE. It comes with ratchets, universal joints, and two lengths of extenders for both sets of sockets. What I thought was nice was the extenders have knurls on them that if you want to spin a nut on or off with your fingers you can do it easily without slipping. The idea of having a square end on each socket helps prevent the socket from rolling away when you lay it down and makes it great to use a wrench on if you are unable to get a ratchet on it due to space. This is the perfect socket set for the professional or novice mechanic.

A very high quality socket set and everything you would possibly need to do portable mechanical work. I have used to these sockets in an impact situation several times they seem to be well suited for Impact Guns below 200 foot pounds.The weather resistant case it comes in is it extra bonus.

Pretty complete set with both 1/4 and 3/8 drive along with the extensions and swivel adapters for both. Ratchets are smooth well built tools. The 3/8 ratchet has some weight to it. Just picking it up you can feel it isn’t cheap. The squared end is nice if you ever need to put a wrench on them for leverage. They are also great because they don’t roll away when you set them down. Cases dont get much better than the packout. The trays lift right out so if you are working on something you don’t need to take the whole thing. Slim profile is super nice for carrying and you don’t have to worry about it coming open or your sockets moving around (even when you pull a tray out, they stay in place). Not the lightest set to carry but that’s to be expected with everything you’re getting. I would highly recommend this

Milwaukee 3/8 in. and 1/4 in. Drive SAE/Metric Ratchet and Socket Mechanics Tool Set with PACKOUT Case (106-Piece) is a very well-planned group of tools. It has so much going for it when compared to other sets of ¼ and 3/8 sockets. One immediate advantage – each socket size is engraved on two sides of each socket, enabling quick and easy size identification. There are two extensions, a standard length and a long one, for both SAE and metric, and all extensions have a knurled middle, making it easy to hold the extension with slipping. The ratchet handles are well designed to fit the contour of an adult hand, allowing better grip and possibly better leverage. One very big advantage of this set is the inclusion of some large socket sizes (up to and including one inch) not normally seen in 3/8 inch socket sets. Another unique advantage – the square tops of these sockets (compare to the cylindrical ones also pictured) allow for the leverage and strength provided by use of an open end or other wrench to grasp the socket – possibly a major advantage in some situations. Finally, these tools are very well made, and provide the strong, reliable feel that I seek – I can depend on these tools. They are definitely keepers.
