Too bulky for me and no magnetic tip on the end if tape.Other Stud Tape measures have magnetic tip.

It is a good tape just a bit thick but all around would buy again maybe go for the slim one if you don’t need the standout

It works as advertised

It does not have a 14’ or 17’ standout. Maybe 12’ at most. Other than that, having measurements on both sides is really convenient. The only thing I could ask more of, is if it had the auto stop.

Whether building a table or a house there is always a need for reliable measurements. This tape measure gives you that. With increments down to 1/16 of an inch this tape measure gives you accuracy without excessive clutter. 16 foot will make most indoor measurements I would normally need and being over an inch wide makes a sturdy tape that can stand alone for 14 foot, mine started to droop some after 12 foot but still enough to get from one rafter to another quickly and safely. Large easy to read numbers plus readable from the underside as well. If you are doing small projects this maybe too large for that, but for large projects and construction, this is what you are looking for.

I thought because it was a stud that it would have the nylon tape or whatever that material is. Unfortunately it doesn’t. Standard steel tape. And only about 11′ standout.

Sturdy and well built.Bump guard all around. Wire bail type belt clip attached. There is a lanyard hole on the rear if you need to tether it in use.The tape is +1″ wide x 16′ that I prefer over the 25′ units because of size and weight. The tip is secured by 4 rivets and some reinforcing plastic for the first 6″.The scale is printed on both sides in large font; there is an architectural scale on the back between the 1′-2′ range (1/4 an 1/8 if you happen to have scaled print). I generally never need to extend the tape more than 8′ unsupported and this works just fine. You need to add 3 3/8″ for inside measurements. It is molded into the housing, but I mark in the case with a yellow paint pen just to remind me.Compare them in the store. The cost/length will be higher on the shorter units. They will be smaller and lighter and have fewer problems rewinding.

I had recently spent a few dollars less and purchased a competitive brand tape measure with similar length and width. Within a short time the tape locking mechanism completely failed. I gave it to my wife to use in the house. Now I have a tape I can depend on!

Originally bought the “wide” 16′ which is a very nice tape but didn’t stand up to our “abuse” lol. This seems bullet proof. Slightly heavier, but worth it to me. Very smooth and nice features. I would buy again.

Holds up when extending up to 11’ without someone holding the other end. Nice and tough for constant use in measuring and cutting wood. Good tape measure overall.

This tape measure is big and beefy. Everything about it screams durable. Its heavy and the blade is very thick. I love everything about it and I can tell that it is going to last for a very very long time.

After deciding to try this tape it quickly became my go to from now on. Easy to read and for sure reaches out and able to hook the end for a measuring without it folding up on you over and over. Definitely my new choice of tape from here on.

This is the best tape measure I’ve ever owned! I’m a tool junkie so it’s hard for me to get excited about a tape measure. This one has big bold numbers which make seeing them a breeze. Coolest feature is that it’s two sided! One side is vertical and the other horizontal. Measuring 2×4 has never been easier. I don’t have to lay them down or almost put a crook in my neck leaning to see the measurement. Seriously, this is the only one I use now.

this tape measure is huge. Its made very well. I enjoy that the numbers are bigger and I can read them with a ease. It has a hook on the back that way you can clip it to your bag or pants. It has q nice weight behind it. The tape measure won’t rip or tear. This is great for projects at home or on the job.

This tape measure is the best one I’ve ever owned. I can see the measurements better and it is very well made. I will probably not find another one made this well. I recommend the stud tape measure to everyone.

This is a good, solid tape measure. It feels well made and durable. The tape, itself, feels good and it should last. The measurements can be read on both sides of the tape, which can be useful at times. I love how easy it is to lock the tape out with my finger. The switch to lock the tape out is buttery smooth. It is noticeably smoother than any other tape measure that I’ve ever used and is a testament to the tape measure’s quality. It is a bulky tape measure, but that probably adds to the durability. The only con that I notice is that the tape doesn’t automatically reel itself in unless it is tilted upward or assisted by hand. That is not a major issue, but it is noticeable after switching directly from my last tape measure. This is truly the best tape measure that I’ve ever owned and I highly recommend it.
