It’s good, not great. The retract on this tape is not consistent and the catch is on the small size. It does fit well in the hand and doesn’t have any protrusions or tacky rubber to catch on your tape measure pocket. Overall, if it holds up, it’ll be a good tape

Seems nice do far but it’s still only a couple days old. Wish it the wide magnetic hook on the end like the older ones did,

Smooth retracting and great magnet with easy to read measurements

It’s good but too heavy

This is a durable 25’ tape measure that is neither compact nor light-weight. It’s my heaviest and bulkiest 25’ tape, but it’s also the only one that can supposedly withstand an 80’ drop. I’ve only dropped it from 5-6’ without issue and never go higher than 20’. Measuring 1.25” wide, the tape is fat. It’s also rip and wear resistant. I really like the large numbers and 1/8 and 1/16 markers since I don’t need my glasses. And having the measurements on both sides of the tape is a plus. The tip of the tape is magnetic, which occasionally comes in handy if I’m working with metal studs. The 14’ standout works beyond 14’ when the blade is locked onto an edge, but if not, the tape snaps to the ground at roughly 11-12 feet in my case. The body is sturdy and chunky (base is 3 5/8” front to back), which provides stability when placing it on a surface; however, the blade tip is short. It only extends 3/8” below the body making it harder to secure onto objects and keep it there when doing longer measurements. The shallow tip also doesn’t allow for one handed operation given I have to pull out the tape a little to lock the blade on. An important thing to note is that the tape isn’t flat (very “U” shaped) making it more difficult to mark measurements. This is pretty common with these bigger tapes that provide long standouts. Overall pleased with it.

Milwaukee continues to dominate the construction tools market place by showing the consumer innovation and thoughtfulness not only in the pricier items they make, but in the more disposable items as well.

The tape itself is holding up very well so far, but the clip to hold it to your belt is very low quality as mine broke when I took it out of the package. Fortunately mine rests in a pouch on my tool belt but for those who plan to carry it an their hip be aware of this.

Nothing but ordinary.

Love this tap measure, having numbers on both sides is a plus. Since I do most projects alone, its nice that the tape measure doesn’t fold in on itself.

Solid quality, easy to use, numbers on underside helpful in tight and overhead spaces.
