The Milwaukee 150 ft. Laser Distance Meters are designed to provide the easiest measurements from all orientations and boast an array of features. 2 in. color screens offer maximum visibility in low light conditions. A simplified user interface provides fast navigation so users can quickly choose their function and take a measurement with minimal downtime. A built-in 2-position auto-detecting lever enables you to easily measure in corner while a side shot button offers easier, more ergonomic experience when measuring in all directions. This distance meter also offers several different measurement functions that allow users to add and subtract values and calculate linear distance, surface area, total area and volume. In addition, each tool includes memory storage for 30 readings and impact-resistant overmold for protection from tough jobsite conditions.

This Milwaukee 150 ft. Laser Distance Meter is the most accurate, easy, fast with instant real-time reading and ergonomically designed measuring tool I’ve ever used. AND it is so simple to use you don’t need an engineering or mathematics degree. Tool has auto shut-off so you don’t drain the batteries in the field.Very well designed and engineered to be truly useful in a large variety of applications. Features include a side button lock-on reading, back-lit easy to read color screen is 1 1/4 by 1 ½ inch, impact over-molded protection, threaded brass tripod mounting hole and useful functions like Length, Surface Area, Total Area and Volume. You can also set Units, Audio and Language. Units available are; 0′ 00″ 1/32″, 0″ 1/32″, 0.000FT and 0.000M. Readings can be set from the TOP, BOTTOM and from a lever extension off the bottom. Languages are English, Spanish and French. Audio is simply on, a beep and off, no beep. Uses 2 AAA size batteries, included along with a well padded, Velcro close belt pouch. OH YES, I almost forgot, the last 20 measurement calculations are stored in history, not the measurements themselves but the calculation results are.The readout screen is difficult to see in full sunlight and needs to be shielded to see, the laser is difficult to see in bright sunlight but still works well.

I have found the measurements to be very accurate and have quickly developed my trust in what it tells me. The only issue Imhave had is with the brightness of the laser if there is too much ambient light.

I like it but i cant seam to get it to read in 1/16in. I dont use 1/32. So its hard for me to follow at time without always looking at my tape measure to see what that is

I was actually rather disappointed in the quality of this. I am so loyal to Milwaukee but lack of quality in this was sad. The back battery plate does not stay on once you have taken it off. The little snaps are so small!

Neat tool that will help speed up measurements. It also does area and volume measurements/calculations. At longer distances (over 100 feet) it does take several seconds to come up with a measurement but for my uses that’s an unusual exception. But it is still much, much faster and easier than using a measuring tape. I wouldn’t use this for measuring cuts when making fine furniture, but for everyday use like windows, doors, measuring area for painting and the like it seems to be fine and when I check it with a tape it is spot on.

Great product as usual from Milwaukee! I will update for the outdoor use, but for indoors this is very accurate and easy to use. I have had other top brands and used them and this is the easiest out of the box to operate. It is more compact the the other brand models and is comparable to a smaller cell phone. So far I would recommend, I just wish I could compare to the other Milwaukee laser meters!
