The Milwaukee 150 ft. Laser Distance Meters are designed to provide the easiest measurements from all orientations and boast an array of features. 2 in. color screens offer maximum visibility in low light conditions. A simplified user interface provides fast navigation so users can quickly choose their function and take a measurement with minimal downtime. A built-in 2-position auto-detecting lever enables you to easily measure in corner while a side shot button offers easier, more ergonomic experience when measuring in all directions. This distance meter also offers several different measurement functions that allow users to add and subtract values and calculate linear distance, surface area, total area and volume. In addition, each tool includes memory storage for 30 readings and impact-resistant overmold for protection from tough jobsite conditions.

This Milwaukee Model # 48-22-98020 150 ft. Laser Distance Meter is the 4th laser measuring device I’ve used over the past 20 years. It is the most accurate, easy, fast (instant real-time) and ergonomic handling electronic instrument measuring tool I’ve ever owned! The well thought out feature set consists of a side button lock-on reading, backlit easy-to-read color screen, impact over-molded armor protection, tripod mounting capability, 2-level auto-detection and highly functional measurements that allow users to addsubtract and calculate linear distance, total area and volume and surface area. Checked the accuracy with another “high end” unit I own and it displayed equal calculations over an interior 40 ft range of measurements! However in full sunlight, the bright laser can only be seen in the shadows and the data screen needs to be shielded to read.

This works well indoors, but not at all outside in daylight. Not many place to use 150′ in my house. I wanted to use this for a fencing project but the laser is too weak, unless I want to lay it out in the dark, but then i can’t see what it is pointed at!
