After a few weeks of use, I’m very pleased with this laser distance measure. It has a solid set of features besides just measuring distance. It can calculate surface area, total area, and volume. Reading the manual is a must if you intend on using it to it’s full potential. The full color display is easy to read. Measurements are returned pretty quickly and, most importantly, are accurate (confirmed with tape measure).Construction is pretty solid, with rubber lined edges. The included case has a decent amount of padding as well. One more thing, one of my favorite features is that you can change the measurement reference location. Meaning that the measurement point of reference can be set to either the top, bottom, or, if extended, the corner lever.

Wow, is this a nice meter to have. Why, if you do a lot measuring, especially in spaces this is a must have. Interior windows and shades no problem, no bending that tape measure and guessing that last half inch to get a perfect measurement. Easy to read with spots on the meter to determine what you want to measure using the distance on the meter to get it exact. Very nice.

Pretty amazing Gadget. Pick this up recently to do a crown molding and cabinet project and it really speed things up for cuts on the miter saw. Accuracy was very good, sometimes it was too tight so usually I took a 16th of an inch off. For inside corner joints being tight is actually really beneficial for good miters.

After breaking my previously owned laser distance meter that I owned for 12 years I needed a replacement fast. As an Architect this worked out perfectly for the type of work I do.

Great little tool. Makes measuring indoors a snap. Compared it head to head against the Bosch which is also a good tool, but for the difference of $20.00 the additional footage and overall heavy duty construction and durability make this unit a clear winner.

Does not respond on time. Too much lagging.

Decided to return this as the “real time” measurements were pretty slow in adjusting. Ended up going back to the Bosch unit.

I really like using it because it is very accurate. The sides are pretty much all squared off but still find myself holding it. The readout is clear and fractions large enough to easily read from any angle. My only complaint- it measures in 32nds and CAN NOT change to measure in 16ths. that being said, i found it does 32nds measurements less often than the bosch. I bought the bosch for like 50 bucks first on clearance but i returned it, it sucked- cant see the fraction and cant view at an angle AND sides are way out of square. dont buy the cheap model bosch, this one is much better and im very happy. The bosch feels like a toy. This one is solid and a good purchase if you want a laser measure, you wont be disappointed.

This laser distance finder is probably the best $100 I have ever spent. Very accurate and simple to use. I’m using it to remodel my brothers house and this thing has saved me time and frustration. It doesn’t completely negate a tape measure but i use it for almost every measurement.

So far so good. It has lived up to its word, and also quality enough to have and wear the Millwaukee name.I have tested it against my tape time and time again, and it has been on every single time. I still, maybe because I am weird, check it against my tape once or twice a project just to make sure, but it has thus far, about a month of use, been dead on.
