Pros: great tool for 7/16″ shank self feed auger bits. Quick change and strong enough to handle the torque of a HoleHawg.Con: More of a usage tip than a con, when using self feeding 2″ diameter or less, do not try to drill more than a inch at a time without clearing your hole of wood chips. The width of the quick release extension will compress the wood chips in smaller holes causing the drill bit to bind.

Worked great. Had to drill out floor joists for a bathtub drain line and the joists were set 8″ on center. Needed the extension to span two joists to able to drill the third.

Just what was needed to lengthen my auger bit to drill a post. A 7/16 auger but slips into the extension that allows that extra reach. I used it in my Milwaukee Hole Hawg. It now resides in my Hole Hawgs case. Great addition for that additional reach.

I needed to install some mounting brackets on my house for some lighting but my standard drill bits were not long enough to drill and screw in the brackets.This tool made the job easy. Just put it in the drill and it fits in the bracket holes to reach where the bits are needed. Very useful.

I just needed a smaller 3/8″ or 1/4″ drive in the 12″ length but these have performed well for me, Milwaukee makes some good tools, especially drill bits and saw blades, maybe as compared to what Dewalt puts out there.

I cant outright give it a 5 since i havent used it…this review is in response to the mention of how the allen key is an off size…just for the record…it has the same size allen key as the milwaukee dozer sets.
