Use these with both ship augers and self-feed bits. So much easier to use than the old ones with the sets screws. The screws would rattle out and get lost in the truck, and sometimes come loose while drilling inside a cavity, leaving your expensive bit behind. No more of that with this. Quick change is where it’s at.
