It’s fairly easy to lock the adapter out to 30 degrees; however the bits themselves are so short that they can be nearly impossible to remove without crazy grip strength or pliers. You really have to jitter it back and forth in all directions while pulling up to get it out; it’s SO annoying! With a longer bit it would be much easier. But if you absolutely must have this tool for its ease-of-access, then may I recommend a small locking extension between the adapter and the bit? The website says that 10 bits are included, however in the pictures there are 5. I believe this is for the old bits and hasn’t been updated, but you do get 5 either way. Since you have to grab the middle portion of this, it’s nice that it’s knurled for extra grip. It feels rather bulky to get as close to the corner as some would like it to. Be CAREFUL when you have it locked out to 30 degrees and spin without holding; it will give your fingers a heyday. The strength rating is for 2000 in. lbs sure, and while I understand the marketing behind this, it still comes out to a whopping 167 ft. lbs when converted! That’s FAR stronger than ANY impact I’ve ever used or know of. I guess that by making the shaft of the bits thinner they are able to allow a slight twist without shearing off parts of the end; that’s smart. If it does indeed last 10 times the normal bit, then it’s all worth it for me.

This knuckle driver is very well made and rugged. I thought it would have a difficult time staying in the straight or 30 degree setting but it does. Locks well and stays there! I just leave it on my cordless driver. It comes with 5 different bits. I have not needed to use the tilt 30 degree setting but i tested it and it takes some getting use to but it works! You have to hold the knuckle while using it but it works. Very surprised at how usefull this will be. I am pleased with this product and would recommend to a friend.

This review is for the Milwaukee 30° knuckle impact pivoting bit holder. I’m a DIY’er who sometimes finds himself needing to drive a screw at one of those awkward angles. This product is an excellent idea to allow you to drive those screws. The package comes with the bit holder as well as six impact bits. The bit holder can be angled from 0 degrees up to 30 degrees. The bits that come with the holder are two phillips head, two square head, and one slotted head. The holder and the bits seem to be heavy duty and very well made. The packaging for this device says that it can absorb three times more torque than impact bits but obviously I have no way of verifying that but as I said, they seem to be a quality product. I would definitely recommend this product.

Nice tool when you need to drive screws into a place where the drill is just too big to line up with the axis of the screw because of a close parallel obstruction. The tool works smoothly and controls easily. Basically it does what the description says it will. It is a good addition to the tool bag. I found a couple of issues that would improve user experience. Before trying to get the tool out of the plastic packaging put on gloves and get the tin snips ready. This was a difficult encounter. Fortunately it only has to be done once and the tool is worth the effort. Secondly the tool came with 5 high quality impact bits. Unfortunately getting the bit that shipped in the tool out of the tool is insanely difficult. I use vice grips and wiggle it out – and it has not gotten easier with repeated uses. On the positive side there is not much chance you will lose a bit.

The Milwaukee 30 degree knuckle impact pivoting bit holder is an excellent impact tool accessory. It comes with a variety of the five most commonly used impact bits: #1 Phillips, #2 Phillips, Square Drive 1, Square Drive 2 and a 1/4″ slotted impact bit. A standard impact driver is traditionally used in a straight in driving approach where as this tool accessory has an adjustable knuckle that allows me up to a 30 degree angle to properly impact screws in confined areas such as when I mount #1900, 4″x4″ square electrical boxes on their sides. However, I did find that trying to change out the impact bits was very difficult. I call Milwaukee technical support and the representative assumed me that impact tool accessory was designed to hold bit extremely tight while the bit was impacting a screw. He further went on to say that in order to remove the bit, I should use a pair of locking pliers and a hammer to knock out the bit which I did. Overall, this is a great impact tool accessory. I am glad I own one!

Was just the right tool for installing some cabinet hinges where the screws were closer thana drill can reach and maintain the proper angle into the hinge. There are flexible bit extensions available but they are a bit more difficult in controlling the angle. However, this tool is very pricey.

The Shockwave Impact Duty 30 degree knuckle bit holder set works well for when you need to get to those hard to reach areas or awkward angels that do not allow you to hold your drill perfectly straight. It does include 5 different bits. It’s rated to handle up to 2,000 in/lbs of torque which can tackle difficult tasks quickly. The knuckle bit holder seems very durable and well made.

This will open up more options for you. This is so handy in so many places, especially those areas where you can’t quite get to that screw. It pivots up to 30 degrees and holds those precision made Shockwave bits that grips so well. This particular one came with five bits to get you started, that work better and last longer than any others I’ve used. This has made it easier to get to those tough areas on the car, motorcycle, mower and around the house. You’ve already thought of where you could have used this, haven’t you?

The Shockwave Knuckle bit holder has come in very handy for me lately. I have only been using impact wrenches for a couple of years now and have come to rely on them heavily. As great as they are, they can’t be used it every situation. Thankfully, this knuckle bit holder does open up a few more opportunities for me to use my impact wrenches. Also, when I first started working with impact wrenches I purchased a set of bits at a great price online. What a mistake, they all stripped and are now useless. These Milwaukee bits are so much better, I highly recommend them.
