This product is useful for a homeowner. I had the thought that it works when used in a vise, but doesn’t any reamer work best when the work is in a vise? I like to work with 1/2 inch conduit and 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch galvanized water pipe so I was glad to get this tool. The added feature of doubling as a bit holder is a nice touch. As a reamer this is a good bit holder. This is more of a homeowner’s tool than a professional. But, a good reamer can easily cost 100$ so maybe you need this at your house.

This is one of the best deburring tools around. It is really much more for deburring than reaming. I’ve always used a manual deburring tool on EMT and rigid conduit but this little guy makes it pretty easy. I thought the bit holder was just an unnecessary gadget but found that when installing EMT, most of us use a drill for driving in the screws on the clamps and then every time a piece of EMT is cut, the deburrer is already there. Not a bad idea having those two together.
