The MILWAUKEE SHOCKWAVE 3″ Impact Magnetic Drive Guide is engineered for extreme durability and up to 30x life. The magnetic drive guide features optimized Shockzones that absorb peak torque and prevent them from breaking. Each Custom Alloy76 Steel drive guide has a stainless steel sleeve that slides over the fastener for improved stability. The drive guide barrels have laser etched depth gauges for increased fastener control. The Milwaukee magnetic drive guide holds fasteners to the guide with a C-ring to retain the insert bit for maximum efficiency.

This magnetic drive guide can be used in a power screwdriver, but I also use it as a manual screwdriver with Phillips or slotted bits. On the end of the drive with the 1/4″ hex base, I attach a 1/4″ magnetic finger-grip socket with a 1″ diameter circular grip. This allows me to turn the drive manually very easily, or I can attach a ratchet with a 1/4″ drive for increased torque. This works so well that I think Milwaukee should make a finger-grip socket attachment as an available option for their drive guide.
