The MILWAUKEE® 3 Piece SHOCKWAVE™ Impact Magnetic Drive Guide Set is engineered for extreme durability and up to 30x life. The magnetic drive guide set features optimized Shockzones™ that absorb peak torque and prevent them from breaking. Each Custom Alloy76 Steel drive guide has a stainless steel sleeve that slides over the fastener for improved stability. The drive guide barrels have laser etched depth gauges for increased fastener control. The Milwaukee magnetic drive guide holds fasteners to the guide with a C-ring to retain the insert bit for maximum efficiency.

These impact drives work and they work very well. Its a night and day difference using these. I would recommend them to anyone to add to there tool set. I have literally used these every day for the last month and I now I could’t live without them. The magnets work very well and makes it very easy to sink screws. My 6 year old loves to help when he can and even he could sink the screws very well as it helps stabilize them. I am a huge milwaukee fan with all the great products they are coming out with.

Solid extensions with drive guides that are built to last! I didn’t know any quality tool manufacturers made impact extensions up to six inches until I came across this set. Honestly, I would be hesitant to use one from those value brands. These extensions come with laser etched (not engraved so it probably will wear off eventually) rulers on the sides, under the sleeve/guide. They are designed to let you know what depth the screw is currently at even when you can’t see it. A nice feature, but if you’re like me then you’ll still need to constantly check with a rule or the piece you’re working on anyway. The sleeve is stainless steel, not aluminum like some other brands, so they will last a long time, saving money on replacements. I haven’t used them enough yet to know if they will save my fasteners from breaking, but if they do then that’s a money saver, too. And the holder does provide the C-clip to hold the bit and a magnet that helps hold the fastener to the tip. An all around solid set of extensions that you shouldn’t hesitate to throw in your toolbox!

About the only time that I use these extending-sleeve type bit holders is when I’m driving long drywall / deck screws, and need my other hand free to hold the piece of framing, blocking or whatever. For such, they are extremely nice to have. The 3 in my set all appear well-made, run true. The c-ring holds the bits in place quite well, though not so well that they are a bear to remove. Magnet holds the screws well enough to the bits.Although I have never found non-impact-rated versions a problem, running them in impacts; as contractor-grade impact drivers continue to become more powerful each year, it certainly can’t hurt to have them rated for impact duty. They should hold up very well to pro contractor use.

I like the reach and the mag tip. The only drawback is that the barrel is a little too big for some tight spots. They hold well and do a great job.

This is one of those items that you would like to buy because you think you might use it but not quite sure if you really need it or will actually use it. But then you buy it and you so glad you did because you find that you end up using it more than you ever thought and you keep wondering “how did I work without it, Why didn’t I buy this sooner?”Yeah this item is one of those items. After I gave these various extension guide sets a bit of test, I found numerous times of using them regularly and in particular the 4 Inch and 6 Inch lengths for those hard to get to places where a straight extension is preferred over a flexible extension, and I have only owned this set for about 2.5 weeks.The magnet will hold your screw secure while navigating the drill or hand screw to the your pilot hole to attach the screw into what ever materiel you are screwing together.And you have a sleeve with etch in ruling guide so you can see how far you have left to go to get a flushed screw. Very high quality and solid tool.Although I found the Magnetism MUCH STRONGER than it really needs to be by about 2-1/2 X’s. I had to use pliers to pull of the screw bit out of the extensions. I did “work” the bits in and out of the extension holder a few times to give it some wear on the extensions and that seemed to help fix the problem, no more pliers needed. Overall Great quality product and must have in your Drill/Impact Driver’s tool bag.

This is a nice little drive set. There are three lengths for use in different areas. A long drive guide can help one attach a screw in an inaccessible place where a drill will not fit. I use it to attach an antenna to the side of the house where the dripp would no go between the frame and the antenna. These are really handy because they allow one to exchange bits quickly.

The Shockwave 3 piece Magnetic Drive Set worked better than I expected. On other brands of magnetic bit holders, the sliding sleeve that stabilizes longer screws, usually work themselves loose from the shaft. After many hours of use of each length, the sleeves have stayed intact.The three different lengths makes it very easy to drive various length screws with any number of screw bits. The magnets are strong and hold the screws well. I’ll be using these for a long time.
