I’m really happy with these Torx bits. I use GRK style construction screws almost exclusively now (they’re really are superior to standard deck screws in every way) and the GRKs include a bit with every box of screws… but it’s a pretty cheap bit that strips out long before the screws run out. I’ve used this Milwaukee bit on over two boxes in a row now and it doesn’t show any wear and tear. I also appreciate the long length, it has enough reach to get into most spaces without being in the way. The shank fits in all my quick release tools without a fight and pops out on command. All around a well built bit.

Milwaukee Tools Shockwave T20 3 1/2″ Torx (# 48-32-4578) impact driver bits, in a five pack, will take the everyday wear and tear I will give them on my jobsite. The 3 1/2″ length allows for reaching into tuff-to-fit corners and complete my task without stripping the screw, or snapping off the bit. The 1/4″ bit fits into most every impact driver on the market today, or it will work in any type drill.

I am so happy found these. I can use them as a substitute for Kreg screws in a pinch. At times they are too long and a little difficult but in spaces that require the reach it’s an essential tool. Hardy as well. The red shank is nice and visible on the work table. Overall I’m happy with Milwaukee. I hope they move more of their manufacturing back to the US.

Purchased these for a deck project to use with my Milwaukee drill. Snapped off the tips of them after a Just a few screws. Getting Ready to try other brands from Home Depot now so I don’t know if the problem was with these tips or me just yet so I am giving them 3 stars.

Recently I helped my son put up hundreds of cedar boards up to make a fence across his back yard, and he wanted to use ‘non-staining’ screws instead of galvanized nails. I have other sizes of Milwaukee Torx bits, but didn’t have the #20 size, yet. So I got these and we used them to drive thousands of screws into the boards. I’ve used other types of bits, but they sometimes broke, stripped, or just didn’t fit right. The Milwaukee beats them all, hands down. They never let go, stripped, or broke, and we made good time running the boards in. The Milwaukee bits not only refuse to break down, they don’t ever quit. Get the Milwaukee bits and stay on the job!

I’ve tried many different bits as I put in many screws per day. These seem to hold up the best.

Milwaukee has totally innovated theT20 Torx Screw driving bit. My new choice for wood screws are Torx type screws and using a MILWAUKEE® SHOCKWAVE™ Torx #T20 3 1/2″ Impact Duty™ Steel Screwdriver Bit. These bits have a laser hardened tip which is designed to extend bit life by a factor of 50. The precise sizing of the tip head fits a Torx Screw snuggly which prevents stripping the screw head. For me this has always been a problem when seating a Phillips wood screw. The ¼ inch hex end of the driver bit is laser etched with the size T20,T25 etc. The size of the Torx screw is typically shown on the box of Torx fasteners so you always know what size of driving bit to use. The Torx bits work well in both1/4-inch hex impact drivers and/or keyless chuck drill drivers. I would recommend these bits to both the DIYer or professional craftsmen.

This 5-piece pack of Milwaukee Torx bits (Model 48-32-4578) may well be the last set of #20 Torx bits you’ll ever buy. The “Wear Guard” tips fit tightly in the screw head, and haven’t shown signs of any wear after dozens of screws driven into hardwood – even used with an impact driver. There is virtually no slipping, though I have seen metal filings coming from the screw itself when I intentionally allowed the bit so slip. The 1/4” hex shanks fit firmly in every tool I use and there is very little “wobble” of the bit. The 3 1/2” length is perfect for most applications, but 2” bits are also available when shorter length is needed. At less than $1.60/bit these are a great value!
