The Phillips bits feature Wear Guard Tip™ for increased wear resistance which protects the fit over the life of the bit. The impact driver bits have and optimized Shockzone™ for each tip type and length of driver bit to absorb peak torque and prevent breaking. The Custom Alloy76™ is customized and heat treated per tip type to extend the life of the driver but by up to 50X vs. competitive impact driver bits. The SHOCKWAVE™ Impact Duty™ driver bits are built to deliver extreme durability for the most demanding applications.

these bits are very good

Good quality and resists stripping. Shape and color easy to spot in case it is dropped on the ground at the construction site

The Phillips tip of these screw bits is tapered smaller then the tips of Phillips screw bits from other manufacturers to allow these Phillips screw bits to engage deeper into the head of Phillips screws then other screw bits, even into screws with damaged or worn heads. These screw bits drive screws and stay engaged into the head of Phillips screws better then other Phillips screw bits and do not wear as quickly as other hardened Phillips screw bits. Was able to use one of these Phillips screw bits on a 1/2″ drill to remove Phillips screws with worn or damaged heads that could not be removed and that had already ruined other hardened Phillips screw bits when attempting to remove them. These screws bits are a great buy and are sold as a package of 5 screw bits.

Impact rates and last way longer the others that are out there. I use these everyday and they don’t strip out at all.

I have not had one break on me yet. Good fitting tips

I’m getting too old to swing a hammer very long. So now I use my impact drill and phillips bits to screw the boards together. I put together a chicken run with 2x4s and 3 inch long screws. I started with the cheap bits that I already had and went through them very quickly. The tips of them rounded off and wouldn’t fit into the slot of the screws anymore. I went through the last 4 that I had. At least I didn’t throw away new bits. Then I got out my new Milwaukee bits. I noticed a big difference from the beginning. They fit into the screw slot much better than the cheap bits, and the tips didn’t round off like the cheap bits. I did manage to wear the tip on the 1 that I used to do more than half of the project, but it will live to do another project.

Best bit hands down! While working in the construction industry I tried every brand out there, and nothing has lasted longer than the Milwaukee shockwave.

I started using them and they seem to hold up and not wear like the cheaper variety. Haven’t used them enough to give them a more fuller review.

This product is very strong and works well with other Milwaukee products..

Tougher than screws.

I do not have an impact driver, but I do drive a lot of screws- I usually buy them in 25lb boxes. The problem is that regular driver bits, even the name brand ones, wear out far too quickly. A worn bit often will not fully seat and the head of the screw is marred. These bits do last longer. I do not know if it is because of the flexibility in the thin neck reducing shock loads or the metal is just harder. I estimate that these bits last twice as long as my regular ones.

Are extremely tough will last a long time.

They were pretty greart!

Still didn’t hold up as well as some of the others.

Strong, work very well

The grip the screws and hold up under many applications. I recommend these and suggests buying the pack of five so you never end up short. Others brands have led to screw heads getting stripped.

The Milwaukee bits last longer than Most others.

If you are tired of your screwdriver bits wearing out too quickly or stripping the head out of your fastener, these Milwaukee shock wave bits are a good choice for you. They are priced right and they last a long time. The bit is sized perfectly for the standard phillips head screw and engage the screw head positively and correctly. Even at a slight offset angle they grab and keep the screw running true. They are a good value for the money,
