Perfect set for the odd screw sizes. I got this set just in time as I was removing some stairs and needed the hexagon size bit. The bit fits perfectly in the standard Milwakee bit extender. I love the shockwave brand of milwaukee. The screws that I needed to remove were about 10-15 years old so the durability of the bit made a difference. I was able to remove the screws with no problem.

The Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE IMPACT DUTY Security Bit Set (9-Piece) was shipped in a much larger box to protect the set from damage.They look great, I got this set as every time I need a security driver for some odd project I have to look through a old set of rusty drivers but no longer.These are impact driver rated, how ever I only have a Ryobi cordless drill. SO I can not test how effective they are with impact, how ever they work great with a drill.

The Shockwave line of security bits take quality to the next level. I don’t use the security bits very often but when I do I don’t have worry about thebits failing me. The bits have a shock zone allowtthe bits to absorb some of the torque when needed to allow increase contact and reduced slippage. This reduces damage to the screw and increases the life of the bit. This line of bits is an excellent choice when choose long term bit set.

There is really nothing I don’t like about anything Milwaukee creates. Everything that I’ve used has been of exceptional quality…This bit set is of no exception.This set is comprised of 7-pieces, and is of the shock zone family. This means it will absorb shock easier, and not break as easy.The provided sizes are a great assortment, and will satisfy most tasks.My only suggestion would be to provide some sort of “storage strip”, that one could store the bits in. Once removed from the package, their just loose.Overall, exceptional bits to have in your toolbox, at a great price, from a great company.Highly Recommended!

A nice assortment of bits. Great for impact type of cordless drivers. I mostly use torx, however, I did come across one “spanner” type and the included spanner worked although I did not use it with a power driver because of the tendency to wander out of the pin holes.The quality of each of the bits handles torquing well.My only complaint is the lack of some sort of storage sleeve for these bits. I like to keep them separate from my regular type of bits.A great offering of bits for special application – that you normally don’t see.

This Milwaukee product is made in the USA which is a big plus for me. Milwaukee has been banging out great products for years and this is no exception. I have owned other brands of step bits over the years, but this one stands out because of the precise machining of this particular step bit. I then put this unit to the perfect step bit task of cutting through some thicker sheet metal for an opening of a LP gas burner. It cut it like butter. At this point I have nothing bad to say about this product. I’ve had this in use now 3 weeks, and it has fully met my expectations.

I bought some cheap security bits online to try and get into an appliance that needed repair but they never really worked. These worked great. They fit correctly and I was able to remove the screws with little effort and repair the appliance. These are cheaper than what the appliance repair place wanted just to look at the appliance to give me an estimate for the repair.

This is a great addition to your toolbox and more and more it will become a must. There are more security type fasteners out there than ever before. I have an enclosed trailer that almost exclusively uses them. In order to repair or replace many of those items, I needed these bits. These are made with the same high quality we’ve grown to know and expect from Milwaukee. The fit is dead on, so they won’t destroy your fasteners and they last longer than others. If you don’t have these already, add them before you need them.

These are perfect for opening our phone company’s outside wiring junction box. The set contains a variety of 8 different security screw bits which fit into a standard hex drill bit holder.After our phone company installed their IPTV system in our home, we were left with lots of wires stapled to the eaves of our roof. We decided to encase the wires in some conduit and needed to gain access to the phone company’s outside wiring box in order to disconnect and reconnect the wiring after we had pulled it through.I was so pleased to find this Milwaukee set of security bits since I tried several stores and nobody seemed to carry them, let alone knew where to send me to find a set.The ‘T’ style bits which have a star with a central hole were ideal and we were able to open up the outside wiring box easily.The set contains:T – style star shaped bits with the central hole – a T20, T25(2) and a T30Hex bits with a central hole – 1/18” and 5/32”Spanner spade style bit with a cut out in the center – #10 sizeClutch ‘One way’ style security bits – 5/32” and 3/16”The bits are made of a custom wear resistant alloy and include Milwaukee’s ‘shockwave’ stem which absorbs the initial torque and reduces wear.

The security bit set is rarely used, but when you need the bits, I am glad I have the set from Milwaukee. This set comes with 9 pieces, all different bits. For the odd project you can turn to this set. I tested a couple bits on a phone junction box and another security box we had at work. Both fit nicely, and I was able to open and tighten without the bits wearing down or slipping.

Not a whole lot to say about these bits except that they perform as expected. I haven’t had a chance to really abuse them yet, but I feel certain that they can and will do whatever is asked of them. I do wish they came with some sort of carrying case to hold them together and keep them from getting lost in the black hole that is the bottom of a toolbox.

Specialized Security Screws Bits by Milwaukee (Shockwave) are great impact duty driver bits that last up to 30x longer and absorb 3x more torque. I have a full line of the Shockwave bits and got these to fill out my set. It’s not everyday we need these (security screw bit) but it’s great to have them when you need them. Being that my other Shockwave bits have taken a pounding and have never failed, we see these providing the same last lasting service.

While it is a nice set, I Wish it had markings on the shaft, such as T40S for torx 40 securityI Wish it came with the shockwave plastic folding holder to keep the bits together, or plastic insert for the impact duty holder. Please include the Shockwave complete holder, or the insert for the holder, and perhaps a much larger shockwave holder. It is hard to see that the bit is security (with the hole) or plain

These impact bits work just as expected. I’ve had no problems using any of them so far.I like the variety of bits in this pack. Some of them aren’t too common, but it’s nice to have one around just in case you come across a situation where it’s needed. I can’t really speak to the “Shockwave” technology in these. I am sure it is working as expected, but it’s hard to see the effects of it. Overall, I would recommend this product.

Milwaukee is a good brand and there is no reason to not give this a 5 star. Used all bits with my impact and have no complaints. Cant say I have used every single tip because there is one that I have never even seen before or knew existed. All are 1″ and seems to fit well, they are magnetic so that’s a plus so it doesn’t go flying when you’re trying to hammer on through.
