i purchased the bandsaw at a local Home Depot but went to 3 different store and none of them carried the blades. It’s a little inconvenient to have to order on line since it is a company Bandsaw.

The blades are purchased from Home Depot to put on my Milwaukee Band Saw were great for cutting my steel fence posts that I had to put in.

Home Depot sells and stocks the portable bandsaw but you have to special order the blade that goes in it!!!You should stock blades for the saws you stock and sell.

This Milwaukee blade is perfect for cutting pipe, bolts, steel rod, PVC pipe and even large gauge electrical wire. I find that the 10 TPI blades are superior for softer materials and the 12-14 TPI blades are the best for solid steel an even work on hardened steel. They last really well until you really push them with hardened steel. Use the slow speed. Using the band saws is much safer and neater than using a cut off wheel in a angle grinder. I find cable and large electrical wire cut easiest if you put them in a vice. I really love my new compact Milwaukee band saw.

Extreme smooth cut on aluminum without clogging the teeth. I was a bit nervous cutting a soft metal but the performance was actually better than I anticipated. The cut was as if I sanded it clean. I also cut 3/4 inch copper pipe and was pleasantly surprised. The speed of the cut was great, and not leaving ragged edges behind was even greater. I would not normally use this for cutting copper pipe but did so for the sake of testing. On 1/8th inch steel, it did the job but obviously took a bit more time but still quicker than I anticipated. The packaging once again is a strong feature. It certainly doesn’t change the performance of the blade but it does start your day out right when you can easily read what is in the box, and even easier to remove one blade at a time with incredible ease!

Great blades in a convenient package. These compact bandsaw blades work for smaller portable bandsaws like the Milwaukee 2629 that I have. The first thing I’ll note is that they come in a great package that’s frustration free. You just pop open the flap on the side of the box and you can pull out one blade at a time without them all springing out at you. Similarly you can put blades back with little hassle. This specific blade is best for extremely thin metals with a consistent profile. The constant pitch teeth allow for a smoother cut. A good example of that is thin bar stock or sheet metal. Using these on thicker material will just cause the cuts to go more slowly as the gullets fill up. Milwaukee recommends this blade for soft metals (steel/aluminum) less that 5/32″ and for hard metals (stainless steel) between 5/32″ and 3/16″.The blades are well made and the weld joint is ground smooth. I didn’t detect any pulsating or other problems as I used it. Durability seems about average for bimetal blades like this.Who is this for:Anyone who does a lot of cutting of consistently extremely thin or hard material with a compact bandsaw like the 2629.Who isn’t this for:Anyone who needs a different length blade or who is cutting thick metal.
