Milwaukee portable band saw blades 44-7/8 in. 8/10 TPI Metal Deep Cut Portable Extreme Band Saw Blade (25-Pack). These Milwaukee portable band saw blades are hardworking blades. Please be aware they is a break in procedure to ensure the blades last for a long time. The first 100 linear inches cut should be cut at half speed. After the saw has cut 100 inches of material the saw can be moved up to full speed for the material that you are cutting. These Extreme Metal blades have a variable pitch design that should give you approximately three times longer life that the other blades. Fewer blades changes equals more actual work or production time since you are not changing blades. These Milwaukee blades cut material leaving very smooth and straight cuts. Typically, the 8 /10 Tooth Per Inch is recommended for cutting ¼” to ½ inch thick material. The fewer teeth per inch should also be used at a lower speed when cutting vs maybe 12 to 14 TPI blades. They worked great for cutting 2 3/8 inch, 2 7/8 inch and 4-inch steel pipe for fencing and gate posts. Home Depot offers the standard duty blades in two packs in the store. Please go to Home Depot.com to order these blades in large packs. There is a 3 pack and a 25-pack available with free shipping to your local Home Depot store. As you can see in the photos attached the blade cuts extremely smooth with leaving any burrs and very slight markings on the cut metal ends. The 8/10 TPI leaves just a little bit more scratches on the metal cut edge vs the 12/14 TPI. Both without burrs and extremely smooth. Metal cut and half speed.Very impressive cutting blades.

Works great in my Milwaukee portable bandsaw. Cuts through metal with ease. Tin and other thin metals will cut, but you have to go very slow. Very little flex while cutting with these blades. Excellent quality compared to some I have used. As long as you keep the correct tension on these blades they should last quite a while. I highly recommended blades.

Very nice blades, well made, and heavy duty, and, they are made in the U.S.A.! If you have a deep cut, portable band saw, and you need to cut THICK metal, these 44 7/8 inch high speed steel bands are the blades you need, and when you buy the three pack, you save money! They are best used for Cast Iron pipe, Angle Iron, Threaded Rod, Sched 80 and 40 pipe, Stainless Steel pipe, Steel Bar stock, Copper, and Unistrut.

I had no problem cutting through several dozen pieces of 2 inch diameter .120 DOM tube. The 12/14 pitch cuts clean, and makes for a fast cut, about 30 seconds per tube. I also sliced up a few pieces of a 4×4 square .120 wall tube and it went through like butter. The blade’s weld is good quality, flat, and ground to correct thickness. It is a little rough though, and I found that smoothing it quickly with some fine sandpaper helps a bit. But in general it doesn’t catch / hiccup much when the weld goes through, it just cuts.So far there are no signs of early wear, the blade is still as sharp as ever. I usually use Morse brand blades, but I’ve been using more and more Milwuakee brand, and their quality seems to be very good.

Great saw blades. Will cut thru a large hunk of steel, 5″x 5″, no problem.Much easier than my Oxy/Acet. torch, and cleaner too,

Most of my sawing is on thinner wall tube, but sometimes I need to cut thick wall and solids. I tried these 8/10 pitch blades on some 1-1/2 inch 304 stainless bar I was using for a project, and they worked beautifully. Sliced right through with a smooth cut.I did not notice the weld seam at all – no skipping or dragging, nothing. I mic’d it and the thickness at the weld is the same as the blade, so Milwaukee did a good job there.I’ve only cut through about 10 pieces of stainless bar, but the teeth are still razor sharp, and the last cut was as fast as the first cut. Definitely some good quality blades. Oh and they’re made in the USA.

Husband is a jack of all trades. He has used Milwaukee blades for several years without issues. They fit perfectly, cut like butter through many metal applications. When used correctly, they give long lasting performance per blade which saves time and money. From experienced DYIs, Milwaukee gives great customer service, as well. Meets expectations. Fast shipping, well packaged and a good value.

I used these high quality blades to cut 1/8 mild steel angle iron and they did a great job. The tooth count is made for cutting thinner metals and they cut the angle like it was butter. I was making several brackets and had a over a dozen cuts to make and the blade was just as sharp on the last cut as it was on the first. Buying in volume save you just over a dollar per blade so if you do a lot of fabrication like I do volume is the way to go.

These blades replaced my old ones with a vast improvement on cutting strength and accuracy. Metal and I do not get along well as I’m always cutting myself even with gloves, but these blades have kept me safe through several necessary pipe cuttings and stayed sharp throughout. No bucking or kickback on the blade. A pack will last me a long time at this rate.

These portable bandsaw blades will fit any portable bandsaw that accepts 44 7/8″ blades. Which is good because my Miwaukee M18 bandsaw dissapeared and I had to use a corded version. They cut fine, especially on fine, thin metal, such as conduit and other thin metals. It cuts aluminum very well, too. I used it to cut a section of thin aluminum angle stock that would bend easily and it cut it without binding.Plus, this is a high quantity package with 25 blades, That reduces the cost per blade considerably. And these blades dispense from the package with no fuss!

These are absolutely great blades from a brand you can trust and manufactured for their own saw so you know you have a guaranteed fit. Installation is a breeze if you just follow the instruction included with your saw or just reverse the process of removal. The TPI is great for all of the railing I have been cutting and makes easy work of it if you just allow the weight of the tool itself to cut and it cuts like butter with very clean cuts with few burrs if any. I have been alternating between 3 different versions of these blades based on what I am cutting since there are solid bars, hollow tubes of varying wall thickness and size and pretty much can handle everything within reason. Obviously, the blades may last longer cutting only thin wall tubing versus solid and I have not had them long enough to understand long term lasting cutting ability. The best deal is the bulk pack if you use the saw enough to warrant it. I would almost go so far as to say 25 blades might just last the life of the saw.

I use these on a Milwaukee M18 deep cut bandsaw mainly for cutting mild steel. I’d been using the coarser tooth blades but I have to say I like the smoother edge I get with these. Of course they fit the saw well. One thing I noticed out of the box is the welds at the blade joints. I included a picture which can only illustrate so well but one thing you notice when you run a finger across the weld is how smooth it is on both sides. The finish is very good. I cant say the same for all the blades I have tried. I used some lenox blades (mainly because I broke one and needed one fast and they were 10 minutes away) and they are not bad blades but I don’t think they had quite the quality at the joint that these do. It just bespeaks an attention to detail. Anyway these hold up well and will give you a lot of cuts as long as you don’t do something that would break any blade like try to rush a cut and bind a blade.

I love my new Milwaukee 44-7/8 in. Extreme Thin Metal 12/14 TPI Band Saw Blades. The blade is made from stainless steel to be able to make more cuts. This blade walked through a piece 3/8-inch-thick structural steel that I’m using to make into a new shoe for a snow plow attachment. The blade worked so well I’m wondering how thick “Thin Metal” is supposed to be, 3/8 of an inch was no problem. In my project I’m cutting the corners off a square piece of steel, so I don’t have to grind as much to make it a round disc. I would recommend the new Milwaukee 44-7/8 in. “Extreme Thin Metal 12/14 TPI Band Saw Blade” for your deep cut bandsaw.

These blades are invaluable and well worth the investment. If you need a portable band saw the Milwaukee brand are great and their warranty matches any other product out there. Their blades stand up to a lot of cutting. I’d recommend ordering several tooth patterns and several packs because they do wear out and it’s important to have some spares and different blades for different tasks.

As always from this great company, these are great long lasting and fast cutting blades! They easily cut through thick metal and do it fairly quickly too! They aren’t designed for thin metal so if you can only get one type of blade I would get the thin metal blades since you still can cut thick metal with those it will just take more time. These thick metal blades catch on real thin metal.
