We just love every tool we have that is made by Milwaukee brand. These blades are very strong, and were able to cut through a steel pipe with amazing ease. I got these for my husband to use with his Milwaukee band saw and so far he has used it multiple time for varying width steel and is still on the very first blade. With this coming in a 25 pack these will probably last him a few years the way it’s going and he uses his band saw all the time for many different projects. That is awesome!

The 44-7/8 in. 12/14 TPI Metal Deep Cut Portable Extreme Metal Cutting Band Saw Blade (25-Pack) is a great deal from Milwaukee and comes in a convenient card board packing that also doubles as a storage case for the blades with a cutout in the middle to take blades out and also easy to hang on walls or lay flat. The blades cut great and are very durable I have made at least a 100 cuts in 1/8 square tubing and still cutting strong.

High quality saw blades as all Milwaukee products I’ve used before. I really like the company because their instruments can use any DIY person reaching good results. Say true, I don’t need to cut a lot of metal and I don’t do it too often. So I cannot tell how long it will last for a professionals, but for me it will work forever. It’s easy to install and it makes nice cuts. I am impressed by the cutting speed and easy operation.

I’m only posting a four star rating since I haven’t used any of these blades yet. For me the price was right and I won’t use any other blades except Bi-metal blades as they last so much longer than a regular blade. I got these to use with my Bauer Harbor Freight portable bandstand which they fit. Milwaukee has always made very good tools so I’m relying on their reputation that these blades will be top quality too !

As always, a great top notch product from this company! These blades last a very long time and they cut everything I tried to cut very well! The seam is nicely ground and the box is easy to store the rest while you use one. These have 12/14 tpi for cutting thin metal, but they will cut thicker metal if you can only afford one 25 pack I would buy this one first so you can cut any thickness of metal. It may be a bit slower in heavy metals, but with the 8/10 tpi you can’t cut thin metal nicely!

Milwaukee came out with the new extreme thick metal deep cut bandsaw blades. When I saw these I knew I wanted to try them out on my deep cut band saw. I ordered a box of 25.My order came in, I open the box and the blades were in a box too. The box was 17-1/2 in. L x 10-1/2 in. W x 3/4 in. H. On the top side of the box there is a perforated opening this is so you don’t have to pull all the blades out at once to get one blade. This opening allows you to get one at a time for convenience. This is a well thought-out design for the Box.I pulled a blade out of the box and it is 47-7/8 in. L x 1/2 in. W. It has an aggressive variable pitched tooth design that is 8/10 TPI = ( teeth per inch ) There is approximately 432 teeth on each blade and they are very sharp. I love the fact that I won’t have to change blades for different metal thicknesses anymore because this blade is made for All Metals thicknesses.I cut a couple pieces of galvanized pipe and it cuts fast and clean. I was impressed with these extreme blades. Milwaukee also did an excellent job on the welding of the two ends of the blades together and a nice smooth grinding of the welds. Milwaukee says these blades are 3X life and it will give you more cut and less blade changes, I am looking forward to that.Milwaukee did an outstanding job on giving us a high-performance portable bandsaw blades. These blades will keep us more productive out in the field. Milwaukee gets 5 stars from me on the extreme blades. I do recommend these blades 100%.

Most of my sawing is on thinner wall tube, but sometimes I need to cut thick wall and solids. I tried these 8/10 pitch blades on some 1-1/2 inch 304 stainless bar I was using for a project, and they worked beautifully. Sliced right through with a smooth cut.I did not notice the weld seam at all – no skipping or dragging, nothing. I mic’d it and the thickness at the weld is the same as the blade, so Milwaukee did a good job there.I’ve only cut through about 10 pieces of stainless bar, but the teeth are still razor sharp, and the last cut was as fast as the first cut. Definitely some good quality blades. Oh and they’re made in the USA.

I had no problem cutting through several dozen pieces of 2 inch diameter .120 DOM tube. The 12/14 pitch cuts clean, and makes for a fast cut, about 30 seconds per tube. I also sliced up a few pieces of a 4×4 square .120 wall tube and it went through like butter. The blade’s weld is good quality, flat, and ground to correct thickness. It is a little rough though, and I found that smoothing it quickly with some fine sandpaper helps a bit. But in general it doesn’t catch / hiccup much when the weld goes through, it just cuts.So far there are no signs of early wear, the blade is still as sharp as ever. I usually use Morse brand blades, but I’ve been using more and more Milwuakee brand, and their quality seems to be very good.

the milwaukee deep cut 8/10tpi band saw blades cut and hold up very good. The tooth pattern on the blades provide a nice bite with out being too aggressive. The blades hold the teeth and sharpness very good. The blades don’t tend to get over heated and burnt as long as you take it easy and don’t force your way through the cut. Depending on what and how big of a cut you’re making especially if you’re cutting metal i would still recommend use some oil or other lubricating liquid to stop any burning or scorching of the blade or material.

The Milwaukee M18 Deep Cut Band Saw is an absolutely fantastic tool. For the pro user, what better blade to pair it with than with these, with their in-bulk savings.Milwaukee offers these 25-packs in a variety of different tooth counts. Match the TPI to the material you’re cutting properly – for both cutting efficiency, and to avoid tooth damage. The principle is to always have a minimum of 3 teeth in the material. For medium-thickness metals, these 12/14 TPI are a great choice.

Cut right through the steel like butter

I had a chance to use one of my new Milwaukee Deep Cut Portable Extreme Metal Cutting Band Saw Blades today. All I can say is the blade walked through a piece of 4×4 inch square tube, ¼ inch thick steel like a hot knife through butter. There was no chatter, no binding, no problems. The blade just walks through the steel progressing with a nice steady pace. The first cut almost looks like it was milled. My second cut wasn’t as good but that was due to operator error. The teeth on the blade has a 8/10 TPI aggressive variable pitched tooth design. The blade is made from stainless steel to provide more cuts before needing to be replaced. I would definitely recommend this blade for cutting thick metal tube or bar stock. I love my deep throat Milwaukee band saw.

I have been using the 10/14 TPI to cut pipe. The 8/10 not only cuts the pipe faster it last about double the amount of cuts.

I use these on a Milwaukee M18 deep cut bandsaw mainly for cutting mild steel. I’d been using the coarser tooth blades but I have to say I like the smoother edge I get with these. Of course they fit the saw well. One thing I noticed out of the box is the welds at the blade joints. I included a picture which can only illustrate so well but one thing you notice when you run a finger across the weld is how smooth it is on both sides. The finish is very good. I cant say the same for all the blades I have tried. I used some lenox blades (mainly because I broke one and needed one fast and they were 10 minutes away) and they are not bad blades but I don’t think they had quite the quality at the joint that these do. It just bespeaks an attention to detail. Anyway these hold up well and will give you a lot of cuts as long as you don’t do something that would break any blade like try to rush a cut and bind a blade.
