Milwaukee’s wood cutting, fine finish blades provide cleaner cuts and cutting efficiencies to improve your productivity. An ATB tooth pattern minimizes tearout in the cut material. An anti-friction coating keeps the blade cool while cutting and resists corrosion and gumming. Laser cutting technology creates the blade from 100% sheet steel to ensure a stable blade that increases cutting accuracy. Laser cut vibration slots minimize wobble and warping during use. A thin kerf design delivers faster cuts as well as more cuts per charge when using a cordless tool.

A lot of times I work on projects like book shelves, work benches, and other things where a finer blade than the ‘framing’ type blade I normally use is necessary. The choice of the Milwaukee 40-tooth blade was a great choice. Whether cutting lumber, plywood, or MDF, it makes a very clean cut and does an excellent job. I got one for my circular saw and one for my table saw. Changing blades only takes a couple minutes, and was time and money well spent.

The blade came on the date I was told it would arrive which is always nice. I mounted the blade on may Hitachi chop saw and it cut wood like it was warm butter. Smooth, clean cuts and fast. I have used 40 tooth 6.5″ circular saw blade from several manufacturer’s. This one certainly ranks as good as any of the ones that I have purchased. It installed on my saw without difficulty. It tracked very well. Even without some blue tape, the initial cuts were very smooth. I don’t recall seeing these blades for sale at Home Depot. I hope that they start carrying them. I like Milwaukee accessories very much. I have too much invested in other brands of cordless tools to make the switch at this point. There are times that I wish that I would have started with Milwaukee.

I needed new blades for my small cordless circular saw and thought the Milwaukee blade would be worth a try. The description of a fine finish 36 tooth blade made me wonder about the “fine finish” performance that this blade would produce. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. I immediately bolted it onto my saw and tried it on some scrap pieces of trim that I had. These pieces were already finished, so I thought that would be a good test for the “fineness”. On the ¾” quarter round, it did a nice job but there were some very small splinters chipped out. You really had to look to see them and they could have been covered with a little stain and would never be noticeable. Next I tried the blade on a piece of 5” baseboard that was also finished. The same for this piece, small pieces splintered out. I then did what I frequently do with this type of wood and taped the line where I was going to cut with painters tape. That took care of the splintering issue and the pieces looked great. The saw went through it smoothly and easily.I then thought I would try it on a 2” X 4”. It went through the board very easily and left a very nice cut. There was also a little soft wood splintering on the end. It didn’t matter on this piece, as it was going into framing for a wall. I was very happy with this cut also.I love these little cordless saws, as I frequently need to cut only a piece of two, and dislike dragging out a long extension cord for the bigger power saw and really don’t like getting out my miter saw on a stand if I don’t have to. A lot of my work is at remote locations anyway and there may be electrical service nearby, or there may not be. This little blade does the trick and I will definitely buy more of them.

A nice fine finish blade that performs very well without gumming up thanks to the anti- friction coating. This 10 inch 80 tooth saw blade is well designed and high quality. I typically use the DIABLO Red saw blades from Freud America, Inc. for my ultra fine finish saw blade needs and also have used several construction series blades from Dewalt. This blade is a competitor for the Diablo 80 tooth blade but the Diablo does cut a little cleaner in my opinion. It has the same price point and cut the several project panel veneered plywood sheets with ease and cut a 2 1/2″ butcher block top without bogging or any tear out. A little sanding with a finish sander and the table top was ready to go. As for the longevity of this blade I can only say that it is still as sharp as it was when installed on my saw and only time will tell but I do not see it getting dull any time soon.

This style of blade is excellent for all of the cutting I do. I cut a lot of plywood and various thicknesses and this blade goes thru it all like a hot knife thru butter. The blade does not get hot with normal use. The way the blade is made it dissipates the heat very quickly. The teeth self clean so it stays sharp and continues to give you that clean crisp cut. I have used this style of blade for several years now and I dont switch blades because this blade does what I need done and the blade lasts a long time if you take care of it. My grandpa use to sharpen saw blades before they had carbon tips and because I learned from him, I can use these blades a long time because I know how to sharpen them. This way they last a long time. These are a good quality blade and if you take care of them they last a long time and continue to cut sharp and crisp. These blades are a good investment.
