I used this blade to cut a steel 1/2 inch pipe. The blade made a straight and accurate cut with a little debris coming of the blade. Recommend glasses and ear protection since the blade is throwing pieces when cutting through steel. I placed the blade on a circular saw and my only suggestion is that they put a notch so it sits better on the saw. The blade is rated for thin through thick metal, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and fiberglass. I wish they made this in the USA, not China.

Here is a solution for getting straight cuts in metal. This blade is designed to be used in a cordless circular saw. The blade comes in mutiple arbor sizes: 5/8″ & 20mm. The teeth are designed for cutting medium to thick metal up to 1/2″ thick but will also be usable for aluminum and copper.Due to the design of the blade it should be used dry and will give nice clean cuts on bolts as well as sheet stock.

It easily handles the steel cutting task.There is minimal sparking, very little sparking occurs.The noise is not too loud, you can hear it, but it is really not that much louder than cutting wood.One should never become complacent when cutting steel, but this blade makes it so easy that you are almost reminded of cutting wood.The ends of the cut metal have almost no burrs on them.We give it 5 stars since it works very well for the task of metal cutting.

Until we got this blade we were cutting metal with a jig saw or Sawzall, even tin snips, and this blade makes cutting metal smooth, cool, quick and consistent. Use it in a chop saw or circular saw.

This Milwaukee 12 inch carbide teeth X 60 saw blade cuts through wood like butter (but so does any new blade). It is flat and true. It should last a long time on my miter saw. I do wish the blade manufacturers would consider some other than white, red, etc paint as it does leave a mark on the wood many times that has to be sanded off. A clear coated or bare blade would be better.

The Milwaukee 7-1/4 inch metal blade is an absolute pleasure to use.I am mending some gutters that have become worn and was using a hack saw to cut the gutters.This metal cutting blade is a godsend. Slices through aluminun gutters like butter!I am using the Milwaukee metal blade in my Ridgid cordless circular saw and the blade leaves a very clean cut. Now I’m only cutting through thin metal right now, and so far I’m extremely pleased with the cut quality of the blade.This blade is rated to slice through angle iron and metal up to half an inch thick. It has worked great for me so far and the next time I need it I know I can count on it to work great again. When using it on a 5/8” arbor on my angle grinder it worked perfectly with no complaints whatsoever.I cut out a frozen section of black pipe and it cut through it like a hot knife through butter. When I used it to cut some 1/8” thick steel tubing and I just cut a bit slower and this blade worked great. This Milwaukie carbide saw blade is really nice. It cuts clean and says it cuts cooler, although I hadn’t noticed either way on that. This blade is recommended for cutting 1/4″ – 1/8″ medium metal. It has a longer blade life compared to previous generations of Milwaukie circular saw blades. Instructions are written in English, Spanish and French. Recommended use for hand held circular saws. We have had a lot of square metal channels to cut and doing it by hand with a hacksaw was wearing my husband out. We decided to see if we could find a way to use one of our existing power tools to cut them faster and better. We found this specialized and fairly rare blade nine inches in diameter with a 1 inch arbor. Commercially, we sense that the blade is primarily used with a high end cut off saw. We are now using this blade to cut all our metal projects, and we could not be more pleased. It cuts so easily. The cut is extremely smooth. And most shocking to us, the metal and the blade stay cool. Based on the number of cuts we have already made, along with looking at the condition of the blade, we are predicting that it will stay sharp and cutting smooth for a long time.

I must confess while I have used a circular saw to build my garage storage shelves, I don’t know much about the different size blades that are available. When I ordered this 6-7/8 inch blade, I expected it to fit what I considered a normal sized consumer saw, I was wrong. After going through three different brands of saws, including a cordless, I had no luck mounting the blade. As my neighbor mentioned it doesn’t say on the packaging what type of saw you need for this blade. The packaging does say 6-7/8 inch with an arbor (center opening) of 20 mm. We both thought it would replace a 7 inch blade. Maybe he and I are the only ones that think that way, I surely hope so.What I can tell you about the blade is that it comes in an easy to open blister pack. As it does not include any kind of tooth guard you’ll need this blister pack to store your blade. Despite being a 36 tooth blade the packaging claims it will cut plastic and fiberglass. Usually these material require a blade with 50 to 60 tooth. It includes 4 laser cut vibration slots, and the Colbalt infused tungsten carbide tip allows for cooler running. A close inspection of the blade reveals nicks and scratch marks behind most of the blade tips varying from almost non-existent to heavy. I would not expect this to have any impact on cutting but was surprised at the randomness of the markings. The packaging claims it is a metal cutting blade, but it is only stated on the back side that this blade is not recommended for stainless steel. It is also only on the back that it states for “use with cordless handheld saw”. Approved metals for cutting include aluminum, copper, brass and medium metal (1/8″ – 1/4″).Before purchasing, make sure you know exactly what blade size and arbor your circular saw accepts.

I discovered after I received this blade that it is rated for use with a saw having a maximum rotational speed of 2000 RPM. I had planned to mount it on my miter saw and to use it to cut 1/8” steel angle for a project I’ve started. Unfortunately, my saw has a no-load rotation speed of 3200 RPM, which exceeds the maximum recommended speed by 50%. I looked at the specs on several miter saws, both corded and battery powered, and all of them had rotational speeds in the 3000-4000 RPM range. And its diameter is too large for use on my table saw, which can be operated at speeds below 2000 RPM. I contacted Milwaukee customer support and I’m waiting to hear if they have a recommendation for a miter saw that can be used with the blade. §In the meantime, I can report that this is a beautifully crafted saw blade. The kerf is 3/32”. I appreciate that the product package can be used as protective storage for the blade when it’s not in use. §Professionally made in China.

Be Careful with this blade! Max 2000 RPM limit! Excellent blade for the correct (slower) saw.Most 12-inch wood working miter and chop saws and abrasive cut off saws run from 3500 to 4000 RPM. That is WAY too fast for this blade. If you have the correct saw for this blade (12-inch, 1-inch arbor, running below 2000 RPM), it is an awesome tool. Teeth are beautifully polished. Seems a shame to cut metal with it. ha ha.The package says it is recommended for medium (1/8 inch to 1/4 inch) and thick (1/4 inch to 1/2 inch) metal. The front of the blade says it is for Steel, Aluminum, Strut, AllThread, and Angle Iron.It IS NOT recommended for cutting Stainless Steel.It has a 1″ (25.4mm) arbor
